I am playing Syberia again before I play Syberia two. I am using the WT by MAG. I have just talked to the hand bandit. The WT says the room for Helena Romanski was lowered to be accessed. Then the WT says to exit and see a monorail on the right. Then it says to enter the lowered room and then go forward. I can't find the lowered room for Helena. I talked to the bandit about the train and Hans. Was there something else that I was suppose to talk to the bandit about to trigger lowering the room? How do I find the room. It seems like I had problems with this before and can't remember what to do. Thank you for your help.

This is from memory - you went up to talk to the hand bandit using a stair.
Go down that ladder-stairs again.
The room is to the right of stairs in the rear of the area.

Thank you MAG. I went down the ladder after talking to the bandit and then went to the right over to those stairs to the rear area but didn't get a hot spot on the stairs. Is it to the right of the stairs at the rear or do I need to go up the stairs in the rear area? Thank you for your help.

You should have seen a brief cut scene of the room being lowered. If you haven't seen this, and the bandit didn't mention Helena or the room, then you still need to trigger this conversation with him, so go back and click on all dialogue options to see if you missed anything.

After descending the ladder from the bandit's control room, you should then be able to see the lowered room to the right and towards the back of the area.

luck

Thank you Rushes. I thought I had missed something. The bandit mentioned Helena and the room but I didn't see a cut screen of the room being lowered. I will talk to the bandit about everything on the dialog list. Maybe that will help trigger it. Thank you for your help.

OK We have to know what you have done. Have you turned on the machine ? Have you talked to Oscar and received his card ? When you went up to the control room, did you turn all the lights on (on the right).Did you place his card (Oscar's) in the slot ? Did you turn the wheel ( to the left) to the lightest ( tan ) color ? Did you put the large container back on the shelf ( to actually turn the power on ? ) Let us know what you have done. Did you turn the wheel and see a hampster come out and finish turning the wheel ? Did you get the voice cylinder and the other one from the room before the contol room ? Did you listen to them on the train ? Also check out the other 2 walkthroughs on this site for this game and there is pictures about what you need to do.

It's after the part where you have to find a key to a ladder in the garden maze area. Find the key and go back to the ladder and go up in the attic. The ink is in the room that Momo shows up in.
Look around in there.
