Welcome amlamb and hope you enjoy each forum. If there is a game your looking for you can always put a request in the Trading Post. I do wish you the best on finding your game at a reasonable price.
I see there are a few that "suffer" the "I don't feel like gaming" affliction. I've thought about deleting the games and just keeping the short cut to one, but then would regret that thinking a game I deleted was the one I wanted to play. Oh, the dilemmas...

So far when I have purchased a used game from Amazon, the sellers there I do trust. Feedback from other customers say a lot...same for Ebay. I sell my games both on Ebay and Amazon after I play them one time. I take good care of my games and I think most people do. JMO * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * and hello Cissy. I'm new to the GBoomers forum so I don't think I've talked to you yet. I usually by my Games from Amazon, but they only had privately owned ones for the "Darkness Within", and they were to expensive. I usually buy my games new and then I sell them on Amazon. I'm guess I'm just afraid to buy a used one because I'm afraid I want like thier condition when I get them home. I wish I had known you wanted Darkness Within. I just sold mine on Ebay for 7.99. Played only one time too

You know, I am just not good at RPG games. I usually die constantly. I very very very first game was one my brother installed on my first computer back in 1996. It was Duke Nukem. I died over and over and over LOL. I finally learned to use "god mode" and shot all my enemies! ::whew:: ********************************************************** I now have 47 game icons on my desk top plus 4 folders for games I have played. Actually 4 icons are for my grands!!! :::thud::::

cmcd, just have to ask, how many of the 40+ games do you/are you playing? Or do you have the same affliction I do? Lornin, that's okay, you can come out of hiding now.... Becky, only if popcorn is served during the "intermission".

Glad I found this thread...I was worried that I was the only one who was experiencing this feeling of disappointment. I failed to complete the last three games I started: Nikopol, Sinking Island, and Sword of Toledo. Just basically lost interest. Then, on a whim, I visited some Syberia 1 and 2 websites to see if I could rekindle my interest. There, lost in the incredible screenshots, with the equally incredible musical score in the background, I found what I was looking for ( http://mysterymanor.net/syberia2.htm). Although I played both quite some time ago, I cant wait to play both again, back to back. Dave at interact has a great price on the package. Soon I will see that funeral cortage of automotons marching down the road in Valadeline...!

Welcome to Gameboomers amlamb. I also have dial-up and I can relate. I tried to download Ravenhearst 2 and after 3 days and several glitches , I decided to wait until it hit the stores. SnickersMom
