can someone help me with scene with Nina locked in the room in Russia (she is in uniform). I have trapped the rat with the bowl & cheesy sponge, but I can't get the rat out to put down the drain. I have clicked all over the bowl and nothing happens?

Hi squirt,

There are 2 active spots on that bowl, you have to move it at bottom. Also be sure that the mouse icon looks like what is on the picture below.

Other members have had problems in the same spot, and needed to download the game patch in order to be able to pick up the bowl with the rat.

See how you get on, let us know if you still have problems. luck

thanks for the reply
I have moved my cursor all over the bowl and it only 'changes' when over the mouse hole. It doesn't change any where on the bowl. How do I get that 'patch' ?

guess I need that 'patch' you were refering to about being able to get the rat from the trap. how do I get that patch?

-----------------

no I don't have broadband. as a matter of fact not sure what that is. I am in the country and can only use a phone line dial up... what do you suggest I do
I hate not to finish the game

We posted at the same time. wink See my post above.

Alternatively, if the patch is simply too large for you to consider downloading, we could wait to see if anyone has a saved game they could send to you, to get you past this point.

thanks so much for the effort

my computer won't read it

I tried downloading it and it said I didn't have a folder, I thought I made one and still wouldn't download. Then I tried openning with adobe reader and it says wasn't decoded properly.

looks like I just have to give up on the game
thanks again

-----------
when I clicked on attachment to download it my computer said
create an association in the folder options control panel.
It wouldn't just download it. I tried to figure how to do that but nothing seemed to work.
thanks anyways

just so you understand what I'm trying to say

It won't let me download it. As soon as I click on the attachment it says "this file does not have a program associated with it for preforming this action.

squirt,

You do not open-read the file; the game opens-reads the file.
Download the attachment to desktop.
Open your C:\Program Files\Deep Silver\Secret Files Tunguska\savegame folder.
Place the downloaded file inside the save folder.
Close all folders and play-load as usual.

Also please use the edit button so that you do not stack postings. Thanks for that lil help.

Right click on the big paperclip on the top right of the message window. Choose 'Save attachments'.

Sorry MaG, didn't see your post!
(Sorry for the stacking. oops Maybe you can fix it.)

just so you understand what I'm trying to say
when I click on the attachment to download it, it won't
it tells me "this file does not have a program associated with it for preforming this action".

it doesn't even let me down load it. also don't understand the game patch. I downloaded it twice. after the computer tells me download complete, I don't see any difference.

You already downloaded it at the moment you receive the e-mail. What's the name of the attachment?
You have to install the patch after you have downloaded it, double click the icon of the patch to do so.
