I had been in an adventure game slump and couldn't get into anything for awhile. But, I've been on a roll lately and finished lots of games. The latest was Rhiannon which was great, yet by the last chapter I was getting sort of tired of it.
Currently, I'm starting the Dracula series that I got bundled with Dracula 3. It's fun replaying a game. I normally don't. It's amazing to me how much of the game I've forgotten.
I child-proofed my home... but they're still getting in!

Becky, thank you for the link to Traitors Gate II. I did play this one but forgot. I had a horrific time getting through some of the scenes ie. the slashing knives. I think it is interesting to note that so many, including me, seem to be in an Adventure Game slump. And like myself they are resorting to Casual Games/HOGS until interest is rekindled. I haven't touched Operation Undercover in about three weeks and can think of no good reason why. Could it be the weather, or the season or???? Or does this go on with gamers at any given time and everyone has been given a platform to voice their sluggish interest? Hummmm.... Curious.
Lotus Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you’re in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

I just started Keepsake-great so far. Love the fantastic deserted Magic School-lots of fun to explore. Also like the built in hint system and prompts to tell you what to do next.
Also just BAAGed 6 more games on my "want to get list" (Psychonaughts, TR Anniversary,Gothic II,Still Life,BS Shadow of the Templars, and Jade Empire.) I tend to get older games after they have been commented on and reviewed, so most of you probably have already played these.
People do not remember how much you know, only how you make them feel finished Gray Matter, playing Alice Madness returns and Deponia

I have been playing the Everlight for about a month now and I'm still at the chapter 3. It's probably that this game didn't grip me enough and I'm gladly distracted by every new HOG and IHOG, coming up regularly or even replaying the old ones. I also feel like I'm letting the Adventure games down and I don't like this feeling. I hope the new games coming up in the spring will spark back to life my interest and desire to play.
Why resist temptation? There will always be more. Don Herold.

Iam playing Still Life right now, because I know Still Life 2 is suppose to come out sometime this year. Since I never played the first one I thought I better get to it. Right now Iam close to the end and can't seem to get through the robot puzzle without blowing up the robot , but I will keep trying until I get through it. Still Life is a good game that I been enjoying, only I didn't care for the cusing and some of the gory stuff. After this I don't know what Iam going to play . I am just waiting for new games to come out. There is a lot of games for this year that I am looking forward to . Dead Mountianeers Hotel, Secret Files 2, Still Life 2, Gray Matter, Black Mirror 2, Art of Murder 2, Sherlock Holmes Jack the Ripper, and Agatha Christie ABC Murders, and I know there will be more .

I am currently cycling around the beaches and cliffs of J'nanin (for those of you think I've gone crazy, I have an exercise bike which I have positioned in front of my television, and I am playing Myst III Exile on the PlayStation 2 while working out).
I'll be back, one day, when I feel like it.

Last night I just started Bud Tucker in Double Trouble. Playing in DosBox, but soon it'll be available for ScummVM too Feels just like the old classics I remember from way back, when AG's was spit out almost every day

Just picked up a copy of "Aurora - The Secret Within" off of e-bay. While waiting for it, I'm about to try ScummVM's giveaway game "Drascula". To get it - for free, and legal - go here and scroll down the downloads page.

And I found my old copy of Down in the Dumps. It's not as bad as Singers state in his review here It's an alright game for a lazy afternoon with nothing better to do. It's actually quite clever with puzzles, that can be solved in different ways. Of course the graphic is dated and it HAS to be played in DosBox - not installed, just played (by typing PLAYDID in the dosbox prompt First time the sound was horrible, but then I tried again and when the game was playing, I hit F12 a couple of times to lower the cycles... and it seems to have helped. The inventory is at bottom and you can stack them over each other. Your cursor will change whenever something can be interacted with... so no right clicking or anything else to find commands. I'm quite enjoying it
