Hi,
I am playing csi:ny and on case#2 and am in a kitchen
trying to locate an apron. I can't open the
cabinet. The game says try something else.
I also see a container I need behind a box, but it won't move when I click on it.
Finally there is a highlighted object that
looks like a lighter or torch, but when I
click on it, I can't get it to do anything.
I hope you can help me get through this part
of this frustrating game.

Hi Shy! to GameBoomers

Take the gas can you have in your inventory and click it on the blow torch that is sparkling. Click the blowtorch on the sparking safe under the counter. The apron and antifreeze are in the safe.

I'm on case #2, and I'm questioning Sebastian. I've clicked all the links in the dialogue, showed him the bank statements, and showed him the apron (of which he gave the lame excuse that he was helping someone with their car). The apron isn't checked green, what else do I need to do with it? I'm losing credibility at an alarming rate with this.

to Gameboomers Mariah, if I recall there are more than one spot on the apron to click on. Some things reduce the bar and deduct from your credibility. Click on things and watch the bar. If it decreases, don't do that next time. After a few tries you should end up with only things that fill up the bar and let you move on.

Duh, I'm still on case #1, and I cannot for the life of me find the CD in the lobby of the bank. I did locate a walkthrough for this game at Game-Solves (which has some interesting grammar and descriptions), but there is no mention of a CD in their list of items to gather from the bank lobby (hall as they describe it). Help, someone, please? Thank you in advance.

If I recall correctly you need to get the CD from the man at the desk in the lobby. There are always items you need to do something in order to get them. They won't be sitting out like the others.
