For curiosity.......what game feature turns you away from purchasing a game the fastest? In my case the first thing that discourages me is a timer. Perhaps to others its graphics, sound or something else.

Hmmmmm Cherie, good question. Thinking thinking--looking around my den and wondering if anything does Just kidding! I don't like timers and because of a hearing loss, can't do sound puzzles unless there are visual clues. I also don't like sliders though the ones you swap instead of slide are great. But if a game gets my interest enough, I will 'try' it and depend on my KISA to get me through the parts I can't do. Actually, I think my number one all time turn off is "save points" but you generally don't have that problem with casual games.

Yeh! those timed games are the pits, casual means casual to me so I like to take my time when I buy a game. If I'm doing the demo first then I can rush a little. No tiney tiny graphics for me, I don't like to search for those items at all. Give anything but that. Games that are too short, if I play the demo and its good and buy it only to find out that is very short, it make me kind of , I hate to spend my hard earned money on them.

"Paperclips"; trying to find them sometimes has me pulling my hair. One game I played had to find a paperclip 3 times in 3 different scenes in a row.
I'm also not into time management; did try one and felt like I was going into panic mode trying to satisfy customers.
I have good hearing but also not into sound type puzzles.

I really hate timers. I tend to walk away from a game when RL (Real Life) interferes and hate when the timer has gone off and left me with a scene to do over.
I do not like time management or match three games. Just personal preference for HOGs and IHOGs and I love adventure lite games.
I also do not like sound puzzles because I tend to play games with the sound down to not disturb my hubby. I also do not like the Simon like puzzles where you have to match the sounds or lights unless they are only up to four or five matches. Any more and I never remember them.
And I too, have a hard time finding paper clips, pens and needles. Something about straight line Hidden Objects that I cannot see. I like when the HOs are something normally found at a location. I do not understand vacuum cleaners or televisions being in an Egyptian Pyramid?
Good question. Thanks for asking.

My list is the same as Jenny's. I don't like time limits, time management, arcade puzzles, sliders, blurry objects and dreary, colorless environments. I also don't like games that don't allow you to find extra hints. I don't mind small objects if they are not blurry.
I love memory type mini games and word games as well as finding 15 same item objects. That's my favorite. I also love games like Sleepy hollow that allow you to see the shape of an item before using a hint.
