Am having a problem with this older game (from 2003)
Can't get the combination 12 - 31 - 38 to work for me.

Since this is based on the date - Try the European way:
1. Turn Clockwise to 31.
2. Turn Anti-Clockwise to 12 (passing through 31 again)
3. Turn Clockwise to 38. This sequence gets the door to open/unlock.

See if that works.

I've done that. Maybe my problem is my mouse is too fast. I don't always land right on the numbers - sometimes 32, 13 and then have to come back to the right number.
Will see if I can lower the speed of the mouse.

EDIT - changed my mouse settings and I got through the door. grin

Have to jog your memory with this older game.
Have to get Mrs. Peacock's jewel by playing that table puzzle and can't get the ball to the centre hole of the spiral. Is there a trick to manoeuvre that ball?

Just finesse the tilting of the box.
The wt has picture to show the path of the ball.
I sent you a file but not sure, please check.

Thanks MaG
Got the saved game. It works fine.
Got to give jewels to everyone except Scarlet.
I can't do anything when I get to her.
Maybe I shouldn't leave as last.
Will try again and let you know.

EDIT - Found my problem - Scarlet wasn't sitting at the right angle
