Hi:
Loving the game but am stuck. I am in Turkey, in the Temple Room. I cannot seem to form the pentagram with my knife on the blue light.
Please, does someone out there have a save for this part?
Thanking you in advance.

El

Help!
I'm on Budapest Day 5 & in the Library. I placed the first thumbtack at the period ending the middle paragraph. I tried & tried to place another tack above the ornate line-bar, but it just won't go there. Tried even putting spool on the first tack & went back for another tack to put on the ornate line-bar, but cannot do it.
Can someone please tell me why I cannot get the second tack in?
Even tried drawing a circle with the spool attached to the only tack I can get in, but that does not help to get the second tack in.

Help!

My mistake - it is singular - just one thumbtack (click on the thumbtacks) is placed on the period that is above the ornate line.

Now I'm totally confused.
As per w/t paragraph starting "Procedure for second parameter" (Kruger's research), I am stuck.
On #4 of this paragraph it says:
"Note the % nmarked granulocytes in mixed sample. The icons
SHOULD NOT be lit up." Mine are!
Looking at next page in w/t it shows results of donors. My question/problem is, in the column #4 (marked granulocytes might need repeat testing), & it shows numbers following each donor.
I do not see anywhere on their blood test reports to type in these numbers for #4.
I filled in #1 (mononuclear),
#2 (polynuclear),
Total # of granulocytes/ml,
& Anaylsis.

How do I get the mixed sample to not show the icons lit (as explainted above?
Also, where do I insert the #4 column on the test reports?
I eagerly await your answer.

El

*************** Edit *****************

I'm so happy with myself! Went stubbornly back & check the blood test reports & the only thing wrong was that I typed a number in error. Father Arno now says "it's perfect."
So, please disregard this confusing message. Thanks.

Before you do the test - click to unlit the icons.

#4 column is used only for calculating Total # of granulocytes/ml (the last column).

Please help - I'm back at the inn & cannot get in my room door.
I afixed the tack on the door & see the string, but no matter how hard I try to cut the string I again & again blow up.
Please tell me how I can prevent from blowing up so I can get into my room.
Thanks in advance.

Place the tacks on the end of the string on left and right side of the gap of the ajar door.
You know where the string is located by that slightly diagonal brown line seen just below the window.
Then use the knife.

No problem. That's okay.

You see the knife?
See if you have a knife in inventory and then use that on the packet.

Hi to all Dracula 3 fans.

I'm having great problems developping the microfilm in Maria's house. When i put the photo in the second tank (after twice cheking the fillment and perfect timing) it gets useless - seems I've trashed the photo paper by litting the light on. After reading previous help topcis i've tried to restart from the closest saved game but no chance. I've done all and lost two days, so my great demand is - can someone send me a saved game after developping the microfilm. Thanks to all and sorry for the long post.

I'm a real fan of puzzels and games which develop the "thinking" not "shooting" skills.

OK, I'm having a problem, as usual.
I completed the "Deconding part l" & am on part 2. I changed the numerals & letters (AUGUS) on the deconder. It then says to type in the "4 letter codes from the Munich letter." You then show the letters to start typing "YGROW" etc. My question is, after typing in all you gave, where on earth is the Munich letter where the rest of the letter are to be?
(The only codes I have are besides the decoder which I scraped with the pencil to see them & inserted them in "Decoding part l.")
Please help me find this code page so I can continue? Eternally grateful.

How silly of me, not seeing it there!
But, now I've run into a snag.
I've been collecting things Luana asked for - got the bloody shawl, ashes, ring, crucifix & am now suppose to talk with Lonel again & give him the gramophone for his slingshot.
I went back to the attic to retrieve the gramophone, but it won't let me take it. I recall (as per w/t) disassembling it (tried to reassemble it but it won't let me).
Please tell me how to get it so I can trade it with Lonel?
I await patinetly.
Gosh, I don't know what I'd do without all the help you give us gamers!

If I recall correctly, if you're finished using the gramohone - place all the parts in the slots.

Have you finished using it? Have you listened to the wax cylinder from Irina;'s safe?

Yes, I placed all parts back in their compartments. I have 2 wax cylinders. I tried replacing items back on gramaphone (just for the sake of doing it, but the only one that will go back is the handle).
As far as listening to the "last words of Herman Von Bergen."
I do not know what to do now (re giving gramaphone to Ionel.
Please help me!

Did the Von Bergen cylinder break apart after you listened to it, El?

No, it did not break apart, how do I get it to do so?

Edit **********

I went back to a save, put Irina's cylinder in it, listened to last words of Herman Von Bergen, had the cylinder break, went to Dispensary & Developing room, spilled acetic acid on Maria's picture, got sponge & wiped it clean (as per w/t).
This is where I'm stuck (had no trouble with this earlier when playing it from the save, but now I do).
I'm suppose to get Jamos' letter from inventory & put it on the light box. It won't let me. I can read it in inventory, but in fact I recall when I last was at this part, I recall Father saying something about the dot at the end of the letter. Now he does not comment on it, and, as I said, I cannot get it out of inventory!
Please, please, help me to get this letter out of inventyr & onto the light box?
Eternally grateful, as usual.

Edit (again) *********

Please don't think me a dolt, but I just realized that Janos' letter I was trying to get was the one in Documents, the one I need is the one in Inventory! So sorry, hope I can proceed from here.
