I am having trouble with the door puzzle in chapter 3. You have to click on squares and the squares around it turn color. I totally stink at this and can't figure it out so I would appreciate any help you can give me.

Thank you for the links to the walkthroughs. That was a big help. I am in the gramophone room now and I have everything I need to make the gramophone work except a needle. Does anyone know where it is located? I looked in the walkthrough but I can't find where the needle is located.

From what I can tell, there are 3 "gramophone parts"

Masmirf, I checked a couple of WT's and none of them said anything about a needle. Have you found all the hexagons and reassembled them?

Thank you for your help. I decided to go back to the other areas and found it on the floor in the wheel room. I forgot that it said to go to previous places because things that weren't there the first time appear after you take other action.

Masmirf, glad you were able to get it. I hate when I have to go back too--I think, "Well, I've already been there."
