In case you didn't receive my PM, I've rechecked and rechecked. Changed your save from 0017 to 0012. I've done everything that I can think of and yet the tire is still unmarked and he isn't speaking to me. Is your save supposed to show her at the fountain and tire unmarked? I have even tried to mark it again and it just doesn't work. Do you have a later save when she goes to get the patch in the garden? or save 0018? Please help for I just can't get it to work. The saves are arranged by dates. Scroll and see if it is in the beginning of the list.

I can't believe it. You were right. I scrolled down the list in the game itself. I was so busy changing and fooling around with my saves, in 2 different places. However, within the game, I thought that the last game would be to the left at the top. Never have scrolled back to the beginning to find the latest save. That sure fooled me. I have repeatedly tried to open the safe. There is a click after every number until the last one and the safe won't open. Is there ever a misprint of the numbers? I think that I followed the walkthrough's directions carefully. Unless there is something that I am missing, I guess that I will need a save for after the safe opens. I hate to keep asking for a save but almost 2 hours after I tried this puzzle, the safe still won't open. Mel22odie

Clicks doe not mean that it is correct. Mine clicked when wrong also. My last try didn't make any clicks.
There should not be any misprint of numbers since that is a random number shown in the game itself. It is the number under the bull statue.
Check that number and play again.

Download it and place it in the folder you got the one you sent to me earlier. I already renumbered this one I sent back.

Thanks for sending me the saves. I did just what you told me to do, but the saves are not where they are suppose to be. I saved both files to my desktop. and then opened up my documents and dragged both files into the folder. But when I go to the game and look for the saves they are not there. What did I do wrong? Did you renumber both files, Bevlee?
Also check by scrolling down to the bottom of the saves in your game load screen - the saves are held in date order so won't be at the top as you'd expect.

Yes, I find both saves in my folder and have renumebered them. But when I play the game and go to the saves they are not there. Go figure?????????? Beverly

Scroll to beginning of load screen. They are arranged by dates.

I have checked both beginning and ending saves, and they are not there. I have never had this problem before, so I guess I must not be doing something right. This is what I did: I saved both files to my desktop, and then opened up my game folder and dragged both files from the desktop to the folder just like I always have done. They are there in the folder, but when I go to play the game they are not there in my list of saved games. Both at the beginning nor at the end. Boy Oh Boy I must of really messed up somewhere, can you help me so that I can continue with this great game. thanks for all your help. Beverly

Double check that you renumbered the 2 files while they are on the desktop to have the last number. There should not be any duplicated number in the saved game folder.
Also double check the spaces or cases of the renumbering.
Take those 2 files out of the folder and start over.
The mail should still have the files to be downloaded.
