First round of drinks completed and I was told a good job (or something like that) and to take my tips. But there weren't any. Did I miss something? Thanks for the help in advance. think

Hi Puzzler,

Any tips you earn will appear in your purse. Check there to see how many you have now. smile The faster you serve the drinks, the more tips you make.

Hi Rushes, Before I walked away, the change purse indicated zero. I even exited the Inn and went back to check the coin purse and nothing. Do I need to continue to earn coins?

Yes, have another try. As you get used to serving the drinks you'll whizz through the recipes. But take too long and you won't earn any tips. luck That's of course if you need to earn extra money for the machines. Did you automatically speak to Donal after mixing the drinks?

Is there a tip container at top left of the counter? See if you can click that and get whatever money is in there.

Rushes--There were no coins in the purse. Clicking on it did not help. I left and went back in awhile, made more drinks and the tips were all there. I guess the Good People were playing their tricks. bravo How long do you have to keep playing the drums. I'm on my 6th try and Donal still doesn't like it. I reach a score of 34. Is there a limit you have to reach? Thanks in advance.

Drums - the longer you play over and over, the more forgiving the puzzle. I started with 50 some and won it with 15 or so.

Cpins - did you check the tip can at the bar and see if you can click it to get the coins in there.

Yeah, I got the drums!. I've made more drinks and got the coins. I'm stuck. No one will talk to me and I need to find: 2 dolls, block for the gate puzzle, 2 weights for the scale, print plates and wool for the sheep doll, I cannot figure out the bottom stone pillar. Would someone please give me a hint or nudge me in the right direction please. Thanks in advance. headscratch

Have you played both the machines at the pub yet? Also the fortune telling machine in the castle hall? Save your game before trying all of these, that way you can reload your last save if you lose, and you won't waste tokens.

The fortune telling machine should have given you one of the missing weights for the scale. Check the wedding table in the hall for the other. Then you can do the scale puzzle. The prize you win from doing this successfully will come in handy for the puzzle at the castle gate. luck

I have the weight from the wedding table which appears in my inventory. I only get hints/fortunes from Madam. How do I get the other weight from her? Thanks for the help.

When you get your fortune told for the first time, the weight appears in the bin at the base of the machine, along with the fortune paper. Maybe you picked it up already and didn't realise - check your inventory to make sure.

Hi Rushes! I went back to may saved games. I have one weight (think I took it off the wedding table)which has a symbol on the front (circle with double line below). I didn't play the fortune teller game at the beginning. So now when I go to the fortune teller all I get is a choice of fortunes or hints. Does this mean I need to restart the game from there? thanksfor your help as always.

Puzzler,

Please check the scale and see if the weights appear there.
The fortune machine should give you the weight when you play it first time - no matter if it was done anytime during the game.
Check the wedding table again or the fortune machine.

MaG,
I restarted the game and followed a WT this time. I now have the 2 weights. I honestly don't know what happened. Thank you everyone for trying to help.

I've done Doll Puzzles 1 & 2; have the lens for Celtic crosses and got through the stone wall, did stone pillars and leprechauns (I now have 3 print plates). I need to stuff the doll in the hut and to take the wool that is in the bin next to the doll, but the cursor won't change to a hand. I need to find the key for the box in the hut. I've explored the barn but the sheep won't come and no one will talk. Would someone kindly point me in a direction. thanks

Did you go to the library yet and hear Kit and Kyler quarrelling? If so, go back downstairs and check under one of the beds for lost luggage. You need to speak to Kit about this, and then to Donal. This should trigger the conversation about sheep and wool.

thanks I'll give it a try.

That did it thanks again. I caught some sheep and remember to close the door but I walk just a few steps from the door and I see the sheep counter going down. Is there another door? headscratch

I think they enter a side door. You enter through the main door.

I remember someone mentioning that it might work if you catch a sheep and then close the door. I didn't do that myself though. It is speed in finding-catching them all.

thanks MaG. I've gone into the barn and faced the machine on the right, exited and the door was closed. I'm probably taking too long.
