I am trying to leave the Ballet Rehearsing room building. Everytime I try to leave it says that maybe I should search the area some more. I know that before I leave the building I am supposed to talk to the policeman again but when I try there is no dialogue. I click the evidence on him and that doesn't seem to work. I went to the walkthru to make sure I did everything I was supposed to do and it has been done. Although when I go to the journal, there isn't anything in the "journal" section, just the other two sections. Can someone help me please. Thank you, Eileen

Have you taken all the pictures and all active items?
Have you bagged all the evidence?
Have you placed the fingerprint on the tape on a paper?

Yes ma'm, I have done all of that. I have all 6 pics and I have looked at all the evidence in my inventory. When I click the evidence on the policeman nothing happens. There was one spot I couldn't do anything and that was at the piano, it said to press key and she wouldn't do it, said she isn't Chopin..is she supposed to press the key? Thank you, Eileen

Hi MaG, I found the problem. I looked all the way back to page 7 in this forum and found the answer, it had to do with the finger print.
Click to reveal..
I hadn't transferred the fingerprint from tape to paper
.Thank you, Eileen thanks

No, on the piano. I think that's just story.
You got the paper with the fingerprint adhesive, right? That is usually the problem.

Maybe best to check off the walkthrough and see if you missed anything. I'm not sure if my saved game here has all the evidence.

In my game, Nicole's journal seems to be missing pages. There is no continuity from one page to the next. I click the curled up part of the page to advance to the next page. Is there some better way to do this?

(City Interactive's Patches site is "under construction.")

Hi ronrob,

Clicking the bottom page curl is the only way to turn the pages. Journal text will only appear on the right-side page. Is the text reading inconsistently from one page to another for you?

Thanks, Rushes. Yes, the text appears only on the right page, and yes the narrative is completely broken. This occurs in the "Documents" (police reports) as well as the "Dialogues."

Typically, a partial sentence appears at the bottom of a page, and then on the next page, there is no coherent continuation of that sentence. It appears to be the continuation of some other sentence. It really looks like every other page is missing. Odd.

Hi, I don't know where to download the save after the slider puzzle. I put it in the Puppeteer folder, but I don't see a saved games folder. Can someone help me please. Do I have to rename the save? Thank you, Eileen

I just read the other posts, there is supposed to be a saved game folder and yet I can not find it. Please tell me where to look for it. I did look in drive C, program files, city interactive, there are files and folders but nothing that says saved games or saves. Thank you.

You'll find the saved game folder in My Documents.

Yes, renumber both save files before moving them across to the folder. luck

Hello, I am talking to Manuel. I have done everything I am supposed to for him...the fruit being the last thing before he gives me the wedge belt. I gave him the fruit and the stick, he tells me I can have the wedge belt because he is done with it, but it doesn't show up in my inventory. Please help. Eileen

Just a double check - you did scroll the inventory?
Ah. I can't even remember what it looks like and I don't think I have a saved game here.

Maybe replay to see if that might smooth out that glitch.

Eileen, you'll find the belt hanging on the wall to the left of where the stick was. Look closely, it may be hard to spot.

Thank you Rushes, I did swipe over the area with my cursor. But now that I know exactly where to look perhaps I will find it. Thank you for your help. Eileen
