Did the tea disappear or is it still in inventory?
Did you try clicking on Madeleine's bed to sleep?

This is a headscratcher. I'd suggest going back to an earlier save and play through this section again, that might solve the problem.

The tea did disappear but I can't click on the bed. I went back to a saved game and now, for some reason, I can't do the Celtic alphabet correctly. So I saved #35 in the saved game place and extracted and have it out on my desktop. Can someone tell me what to do next? I tried looking for a nostrodamus file but have not found oneand I know it would usually go into my documents as there are other games in there.

If you have XP then the game folder location is here: C:\Elektrogames\Nostradamus\Users\Profile 1

Renumber the file on your desktop so that it will appear sequentially last in your save folder, and then copy and paste across.

I'm not familiar with Vista, but hopefully someone who has played the game using Vista will know the folder location if you need it.

luck

I have XP. I will look for it, thanks.

Ok, I have the unzipped saved game in my program files under users in Nostradamus. There are 10 other saves. So I numbered this one save.011. I went back to the game to load and there are 10 saves there not 11. Did I miss a step?

Check all the other profiles - the icons at start of the game. It might be a different profile used by the sender.

Also - please - please do not stack your postings. Thank you.

I hate to tell you but I do not see my save 11 in the game. My husband has worked on the saved file by renaming to save 10 as that was the last save file I have in Nostradamus. I went back into the game and now there are 9 saved games. Something is preventing this save 10 or 11 from going into the actual game. It's worked before on other games I have done, but this one seems to be an exception and I'm stuck and can't go further.

Did you check the other profile icons as per MaG's suggestion, maxcat?

I went into program files and it showed users. I clicked on that and "profile 1" came up. I clicked on that and I could see all ten saved games I had. I had save game 35 out on my desktop and dragged under save 10 and changed save 35 to save 11 and entered it. I shut that screen down and clicked on the icon for Nostradamus and when it asked if I wanted to load a save, it showed me 10 and that last one was my tenth save. I did not see any other user nor did I not see anything on "c" drive for electrogames. I have the save 35 but it won't get into the game so I can continue on.

maxcat,

What Rushes and I mentioned for you to click on are the other icons or users.
The profile or users are seen under the picture of the scene on the load page: the icons of the different users are - sun, moon, virgo, mars and jupiter.
Click on any one of those and see if it will open the saved game you placed there.

If there are more pages available, move the cursor ay the bottom corner of each page (left or right) and see it fold up. Click and it will turn to the next or previous page.

Thanks MaG,

After you explained in easy terms, it was easy. Now! Where are the moons to put on solar system mobile?

Alright I wasn't too smart. The moons are the satellites, right?

Thanks,

carla

Well, you're right, I never thought to look at the profiles in the game. I did find the saved game and continued from there and finished the game. Thanks!

I need help badly. I am trying to adjust the mirrors and using MaGs' and Malcolms' walkthrough. I cannot seem to direct the things up or down accordingly. The walkthru says to click the front right 3 times, front left 5 times, etc. but when I do the mirror jumps up and then no light. Can you explain in more simple terms? I would really appreciate it.

Try these before touching the puzzle. Concentrate on one column at a time.

Mirror placements on the columns: Directions are based on facing the altar.

First column right wall - Move the mirror up. Swivel the mirror until the beam hits the first column on the left wall.

First column left wall - Move the mirror up. Swivel the mirror until the beam hits the second column on the right wall.

Second column right wall - Move the mirror down. Swivel the mirror until the beam hits the left column on the rear wall.

Left column rear wall - Move the mirror up. Swivel the mirror until the beam hits the second column on the left wall.

Second column left wall - Move the mirror down. Swivel the mirror until the beam hits the head-eyes of the statue of Mother Mary.

The beam from the statue hits the tile on the floor.

Use the long metal rod on the tiles.

MaG,

I can't get it. I hate to ask for a saved game because I have a hard time putting them into my saves. But if you want to send me one, I accept it with thanks.

Can't remember - are you on Vista?
If XP - it's easy; renumber at desktop, place in correct folder, check if in load screen - if not look for it in other profiles.

The saved game is on the way.

Good Morning,

I got the save in my save folder but it is not in the game. My last save(017) is the last one. I went in as soon as I installed it but no luck. What can I do next to get it in the game?

Many thanks,

carla

Hi carla,

Did you check the other profile icons from your in-game load screen? Click on all the profile tabs and see if the new save is in one of those instead.
