Trio of “new classics” adventure games, “Scratches: Director’s Cut”, “Penumbra: Overture”, and “RHEM 2”, will hit North American retailers later this month Weston, CT – April 3, 2009 - Got Game Entertainment LLC today announced that its adventure game compendium, “Adventure: Collector’s Edition (Volume 1)”, featuring “Scratches: Director’s Cut”, “Penumbra: Overture”, and “RHEM 2”, will be released April 20, 2009. Packed with puzzles, immersive stories, and countless hours of gameplay, the bundled trio is a surprising bargain at just $19.99 (USD). In addition to availability in retailers across North America, the collection will also be available for download purchase from Adventure.GotGameEntertainment.com. Details on each of the games, including respective ratings, as follows:
“Scratches: Director’s Cut”: Dark legends surround the old abandoned Blackwood Manor, secluded in the northern wastelands. For horror writer Michael Arthate, this cold, solitary atmosphere is fodder for his restless imagination. But Michael soon finds himself drawn into a mystery beyond even his wildest imagination. Join Michael in this suspenseful adventure, exploring beautiful and chilling environments, prowling dark corners and solving puzzles leading to the solution to a tale begun with obsession and ending with madness and murder! Rated “T” for Teen by the ESRB for Alcohol and Tobacco Reference/Blood/Mild Language/Mild Violence.
“Penumbra: Overture”: In the role of Philip, you receive a letter from a dead man – your father. The letter insists you burn a particular book, but you study it instead. Following clues in the book, you are led to a strange metal hatch in the piercing cold of Greenland’s frozen wastelands. Below, in a maze of mines, you must use your wits to solve the secrets of the enigmatic inhabitants and unravel the mysteries of your father’s death. Rated “M” for Mature by the ESRB for Blood and Gore/Language/Violence.
“RHEM 2”: Gain entrance to a curious, subterranean city. Venture ever deeper, exploring a maze of clandestine caves, secret rooms, intricate walkways, tunnels and water systems. In this place of atmospheric ambient sounds, experience whistling winds and haunting echoes in the caves, the rush of water in underground ports, and the rhythm of machines and railway cars moving through the subterranean maze. Marvel at beautifully detailed environments while solving clever puzzles in search of an enigmatic artifact that must be found before returning to the surface. Rated “E” for Everyone by the ESRB. I am totally confused (surprise?) when Gatsbygirl stated I have " too many new ones to play" (regarding games). I have never seen so few new games available. If there is a source I am not aware of, PLEASE, let me know! I'm down to my last two games (Dead Mountaineers' Hotel being gone) and am very sad. Thanks for listening.

Agree with you Laurette, I am in the same boat!! Lighthouse has gone, I have Secret Files 2 on order. Managed to get 'Pins and Needles' (Dark Fall 1 & 2) so am re-playing these while I wait. Believe there are a few games due for release in the summer. Lots of companies are going bust, so I expect more will follow. I am not trading or selling any more games just in case the whole games industry implodes!!
