Leisure Suit Larry Box Office Bust
Leisure Suit Larry Collection – 5 games run on XP

Are these 2 games different?
Are they Adventure Games?
Or are they Casual Games?
I can't find any info.
Are they fun and worth while playing?

Thanks for your help.

Well...........Leisure Suit Larry Collection is the Vivendi re-release of the series. It includes LSL 1 - 6 I believe.

Leisure Suit Larry Box Office Bust is the newest release and is actually Larry's nephew I think. It is a follow up on Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude which, in my opinion, was a travesty to the series name. Neither LSL Box Office Bust or LSL Magna Cum Laude included any input from the creator, Al Lowe, and since I am a big fan of said creator is off putting to put it mildly.

You can find an interview here and a review here.

I won't be buying the game unless I hear from other gamers that they actually did go back to the original intent of the games and then might boycott the game just because they snubbed Al Lowe but that's just my opinion.

You laugh because I'm different
I laugh because you're all the same

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

Thanks for the links Oldman.
I'm going to spend my money on more interesting games.
The review is what helped decide on not buying these games.

I have the "Larry's Greatest Hits and Misses" which I bought way back because the first Larry game was one that I had a giggle about, before the Internet. This CD works on XP and has the 6 LSL games. I just installed it to make sure I knew what I was talking about. Works like a charm.
