Well I was looking forward to this one and unfortunatley I am not impressed with it. I don't like the fuzzy graphics- (I don't understand why developers cannot give us a choice of display resolutions to match ours) - the story was hard to read on that book and it just seemed normal search and find type game. To top it off I got a black screen after 30 minutes so that is all I played - that is not the games fault, but I was not excited enough to start the game up again. Perhpas I am HO KO'd after Rosecliff's endless searching screens for objects and need a break from such games. I think I have joined the Interactive HOG only crowd now- the straight HOG's just are not appealing to me. The game is getting a lot of good feedback at Big Fish so I guess it is just a personal game preference phase I am going through at the moment. I was all set to push that buy button today too, but graphics put me off. Maybe a game I might try again after a spell from straight HOG's

Hi Ana I have already put my thoughts on the other thread, sorry I agree that the images are fuzzy, but as it is their first, I imagine they were trying to keep costs down and probably they will learn from this one from our comments. I think the game is good, and is slightly more than an ordinary HOG, as you have to go back and find keys etc. I find the same minigames a little boring, but the rest I enjoyed Lin

Bella, I just discovered that Nvidia had an April update on my video driver and when I updated it, the "fuzzy screens" I had when all of you are talking about great graphics in certain games went away. 99% of my games looked awesome, but there was always a single game that was less then impressive. Try checking if there is an update for your drivers, it may change the way you see things. Ana

Ana Hi Ana OK I haven't updated for a while so I will go try your suggestion- off to ATI- * crosses fingers, makes 6 restore points and prays to the widescreen display gods first LOL

ok did the driver update and still fuzzy wuzzy. I have this with older HOG's that use similar style for the HO screens- and kind of expect it from older games but not new ones out now. Thank you for the suggestion Ana- it sure was worth a try. Anyway- the good news if anyone wants to know- because my game crashed with black screen it started me off at a previous level and every single object you had to search for was different. Good news for those wondering about replayability

OK... here's my opinion of the game. This game developer did everything right with this game. It has a good story, excellent appropriately suspenseful music, unlimited hints, no timer and great graphics. No fuzz here. Very clear graphics. If this is their first game, all I can say is watch out for the next one. It may, however, be helpful to them to know that there is always room for improvement and that constructive criticism will help them grow more successful. My only criticism or advice is to stay away from putting objects in the darkened areas. Finding objects difficult to find is a challenge, finding impossible items is frustrating. On the stairway scene the peppermill was impossible to find. And I absolutely dreaded the gate scene because of all the dark areas. All in all I rate this game as excellent. Way to go! Oh, and don't forget to click on some of the animals. They make cute noises. Very cute.
Prices are going up everywhere except in our incomes.

I was prepared to buy this game, but after playing the demo, I think I'll pass. The graphics look fuzzy and the main problem is the very long time of a transition between the scenes. It takes forever to cursor to come to life. But in general the game is a good HOG and animal sounds are cute.
Why resist temptation? There will always be more. Don Herold.

But in general the game is a good HOG and animal sounds are cute. I'm just getting a chance now to play the game and will report back later; however, I wanted to comment that in regards to the fuzzy graphics and the long transition between scenes, I have neither of those problems, and the cursor is responsive as well. So perhaps these problems are more system-dependent and perhaps OS-dependent than they are game-specific. I'm certainly no authority on such matters, but I don't know what else to conclude when I see such a disparity of experience in terms of these issues.

MBGGal, I have a 22" widescreen and the screen resolution is set at 1400 x 1050. It is fuzzy when on full screen and fine, although too small, when in windowed mode. Ana

Hello Bella! My husband noticed that you were "praying to the wide-screen gods". He'd like to fix this problem for wide-screen users and wonders if you and others that are seeing fuzzy graphics are all using wide-screens.
Thanks for the input! If you haven't already, please try it in windowed mode (non-full screen) and see if it's any better.
Would love to hear back from you! Thank you! Hi MBGGal Yes I have a 22" wide screen monitor. I tried the window mode and the graphics do look crisper from what I can tell in the small window there. Thanks to you and your husband for working on this- would love it if you can come up with a solution and would buy your game immediatley if you can fix this edit: Just to add my other PC specs if that is any help Windows XP Intel 3.2ghz RAM 3.5mb Graphics card ATI Radeon X1600 pro 512mb Monitor 22" widescreen set at 1680 x 1050 Any information you need please ask

MGBGal........I have a 32 inch screen and have played this game to the end in full screen mode. I did find it a bit fuzzy but didn't find it too troublesome. I enjoyed the game a great deal, did find the mini-games such as the mirror lazer reflection a bit overdone. More variety in the mini-games would have been welcome. Hints were quite adequate, storyline very good. Also enjoyed your daughters waterpainted pictures, such as the cat. (If that was hers) Good luck on your future game endeavors as well as this first time out game. I look forward to additional productions from you and your family. Thank you for an entertaining 2 days. I will be replaying the game again with family.

She is an animal lover, so you can probably guess which other one she did! Thank you so much for your feedback.

Hi MBGGal, I love your game. I do have a 22 inch screen and found the graphics clear enough to play without a problem. I look forward to more games from your family. Thanks for checking in with us and looking for solutions to any problems. Kathy
