I am getting ready to play Ravenhearst, Mystery Case Files. I have never played a casual game before. Will I be able to save or will I have to keep starting over each time? Thank you for your help.

You have a treat in front of you.

The game will autosave when you exit. I don't understand why, but casual games don't usually allow you to save or to use a save from someone else. luck wave

When you finish Ravenhearst you will likely be hooked on HOGs. This is truly one of the benchmark games....Good Luck and Happy Hunting.

I just started Ravenhearst and I'm having a problem. I found some of the peices to the puzzle and it took me to the computer and I'm suppose to put the puzzle peices on the board but they won't stay. How do I get the puzzle peices to stay on the board?I do not know what to do. Thank you for your help. GarfieldOdi

That is the WT that I printed out. I read through it once again and from what I understand I have to find typewriter keys along the way maybe. When I started the game I didn't start at the gate and I don't know how to get to that part so I can follow the WT. I will start the game over if you can tell me how to get to the gate and follow the WT. Thank you for your help. GarfieldOdi

Garfield, the game is not linear and you will come across many things that you cannot do anything with for a long while. If you really want to play the game and enjoy the ride, do not worry about anything you can't find or do yet and keep exploring till you can't anymore and then go back and do it again. Go back to previous areas as new spots continually open up in them. It all falls together nicely at it's own pace. It's a well laid out game that unravels a little bit at a time.

I think you are playing Ravenhearst not Return to Ravenhearst. The puzzle pieces have to be in the right place for them to stay on the board.

If you go to Gamezebo, Tips and Tricks, type in Ravenhearst you will get the walk thru for that game. I would do an attachment for you but don't know how for this site.

Also, try Return to Ravenhearst I think it is the best IHOG.

How do you do an attachment for this site. Are only Moderator's allowed to do attachments?

Kate Anne, click on full reply and you will see a bunch of buttons that allow you to do things.

The first one (a little picture of a link) lets you add a link.

I am playing Mystery Case Files, Ravenhearst. I think I will start over but before I do I will go to Gamezebo tips and tricks.

Thank you for your help. GarfieldOdi

edit: I already had the WT from Gamezebo. I finally figured out the puzzle peices and managed to get through some of the game and got a couple of pages to the diary. I think I'm getting the hang of things. I have never played a game like this one before but I think I will enjoy it. Thank you for your help. GarfieldOdi

I really hope you try Return to Ravenhearst after you finish Ravenhearst. I don't mean to be pushy but it is that great of game.

I'm stuck on a puzzle in Mystery Case Files, Ravenhearst. It is the one that has a bunch of clocks. One clock you have to set to 9:00 and push a button and it starts other clocks working. There are some boxes at the bottom and I was suppose to make a hand appear in the first box on the left, which I did. The next clue shows the hand in the box and the number 5 over a square with numbers that you can push. I am totally lost on this one. I have pushed and moved everything that I can but I still can't figure this one out. Thank you for your help. GarfieldOdi

This is from the walkthrough at Gamezebo. I hope this is the one you're asking about.

Click to reveal..
Library Lock

Step 1: There are seven clocks in this room, plus the big white clock with moveable hands. Do the following for each clock: Move the hands of the big clock to match the hands on the little clocks, and press the red button next to the big clock. This will cause one of the panels at the bottom of the screen to open, revealing an object.

Step 2: For each revealed object, find and drag the corresponding opposite object into the empty slot behind it. These objects are scattered throughout the room.
Angel - the red devil head in the upper right of the screen

Female symbol - the male symbol hooked around the bottom dial on the square brown clock

Fire - the icycle hanging from the square black clock

Girl photograph - the black and white boy photograph handing on the wall

Moon - the sun in the face of the clock with Roman numerals to the left of the big white clock

Rabbit - the tortoise sitting on top of the big white clock

Salt - the pepper shaker sitting on the white clock in the lower left of the screen
Step 3: The closed panels now contain a variety of objects that represent numbers (5 fingers, 2 cards, 6 pointed star, 4 leaf clover, 3 point triangle, 5 fingers, 3 pronged trident) key these numbers in sequence into the keypad to unlock the door.

MAG, I got through the clock puzzle just fine with the spoiler. I was on the right track but just didn't get it without the spoiler. I found the rest of them at Gamezebo in case I get stuck again. GarfieldOdi

I'm stuck on Mystery Case Files,Ravenhearst again. I am solving the Nursery Lock puzzle. I got through all of it (that was hard) but can't match up the five paper symbols at the bottom with the ones on the large middle object. I don't want to give anything away so will not elaborate any further. Thank you for your help. GarfieldOdi

Per the walkthrough Here:

Quote:
Nursery Lock

Step 1: This is a memorization game. Press the button on the device in the lower right, and it will flash a series of objects in sequence. You must select these objects and drag them into the correct spaces in the grid below. The first one will be 3 objects, the second time will be 4 objects, and the third will be 5.

Tips: This isn't easy. Concentrate, and if it helps, write down what the objects are on a piece of paper to help you remember. As soon as you know what the first item is, try to click on it without taking your eye off the rest of the flashing items to get a head start. Move fast! You don't have a lot of time.

Step 2: After you've completed the final Match 5 challenge, five paper symbols will appear: Sheep, dog, turtle, bird, reptile. Push the buttons corresponding to the symbols on the large middle pbject (i.e. snake = turtle).

Thank you Ana. I am on step 2. I don't know what the sheep should be matched up with or the dog, turtle, bird or reptile. I matched up the snake to the turtle but I don't know how to match up the rest. I some at random for awhile but got no where. Thank you for your help. GarfieldOdi PS. Where can I get Return to Ravenhearst that is not a download?
