Did Manuel ask you for something to drink? Perhaps you need to click on the fruit again also. Then search with your cursor for a hotspot to place the pillow beneath.

I have placed the pillow and Nicole says "Trial and error, they say." Can't take fruit.

Now that you've placed the pillow, can you use the stick on the fruit to knock it down?

Hi sewqueen, Your saved game folder will be in My Documents. Check to see the last numbered file there. You need to save both files that MaG sent to you to your desktop, and then renumber both so that they will appear sequentially last in the game folder (they need to be the same number, as the 2 files make up one save). Then copy and paste both files across into the AOM folder. Exit the folder, start up your game as usual and load the new save. You will need to scroll down through the saves to the beginning to find the new one.

The W?T says "The tool box, rag, and axe are still on the ground. Take a bar from the fence."
Nicole says she doesn't know what she would do with it now...am I reading this wrong??

Yes, and she did remark about it wondering why they were being drilled.

jorja, make sure that you have examined the map in your inventory which pictures a skull, and then clicked on the sign on the chapel door which has the same skull image.

Well, stuck again. I think I saved too soon. I have the dagger and key placed correctly but the thug just says 'get back to work...' Now what should I do? I went to a previous save but game won't let me get kay. She says 'trial and error, they say.'
