Can any of you think of adventure games you feel would make cool movies?
A few that immediately come to my mind: The Longest Journey, Moment of Silence, and Lights Out.

Definitely The Moment of Silence, and I'll add Syberia and the Runaway and Broken Sword series.

Several: Culpa Innata (and probably its upcoming sequel), The Longest Journey and Dreamfall, The Gabriel Knights, Grim Fandango, The Syberias, The Moment of Silence, Still Life, the Runaway games. These are just a few off the top of my head. lol

The Darkfall games would make cool horror type movies, more suspensful and less slashy.

Here are a few that I think would make good movies:

Gabriel Knight
Broken Sword series
Longest Journey
Discworld
Monkey Island
Simon the Sorcerer
Black Dahlia
Ankh
Sanitarium
Black Mirror

It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

I agree, the Darkfall series would make cool and very creapy horror movies.

I believe Discworld is already a movie from the UK. Just google it. I tried to find it at Rogers video but they don't have it.
Excellent choices everyone.

One that I haven't seen mentioned is The Tex Murphy series.

It´s a really interesting thought to me how a Dark Seed movie would look like. I mean this whole Dark World scenario could be pretty impressing on the big screen, i know it´s never gonna happen, just an interesting thought how that might look like.

Dark Seed is a great idea. I had forgot all about those games. Another good one would be Faust.

Police Quest 1. It's just mint idea for a film. Also The Longest Journey tho it will need to be compressed alot to be made into a story tho a 3 hr fantasy film it would be cool.

About discworld. It was made into a 2 parter tv mini movie for ITV here in UK i believe. They may have it on dvd. Hmm here it is after a quick google.

The Space Quests
Monkey Island series

Culpa Innata is the worst game I've ever played, they'd have to pay me to see a movie.

Well, Culpa Innata is my favorite game, so I would see it in the theater and then buy the DVD. razz

Your choices are good as well, though, Guybrush. wink
