Travel the tunnel - If you hear the tunnel police, go back to any side alcove. Wait until you don't hear them anymore.

From the passage - Go forward and see the sewer. Do not cross this plank. Turn right and use the next plank to cross to the other side. Turn left and enter the first alcove. Go forward and see the water.

If you hear the police coming you should duck into a side alcove closest to you and wait until you can no longer hear them. You always get a few seconds warning of their approach, but you still need to be quick.

OK, I made it through the sewer (finally) and am now at the design office. I tried to disarm the bomb on the door, but I can't make the fuses move. I wonder if this is a problem because I have VISTA (darn it)

musicgirl, I merged your two threads. It helps us if you stay with one thread per game so we can follow your progress. It also avoids pushing another member's active thread off the first page.

Vista shouldn't be causing a problem here. From the walkthrough: The paper on the door shows the correct sequences to be done: similar shapes or similar colors. Different colors and different shapes sequences are wrong. Arrange the connectors to connect by similar shapes or color. This is a timed puzzle. Click on a connector and then click it on the one you want to replace or the place you want to put it on.

Note that you cannot switch a vertically placed connector with a horizontal one - perhaps that is the trouble you are having.
