OK I ran out of bowls and I cannot pick up the green powder to make Masa thorns. Does anyone know how to make them? I followed instructions in the scrolls for the other unknown chemicals, but mostly the only thing that worked for me was trial and error. I tried to make a new bowl out of clay just to see if it would work, and I've hunted every nook and cranny to find another bowl. I have two openings for bowls in the "laboratory" but I need another bowl so I can pick up the green powder or a recipe that works to make Masa thorns if you run out of bowls. Thanks

I'm pretty sure that I picked the same herb twice by accident, but I don't know what to do now. I have two empty slots and no more bowls. I really don't want to start all over - I'm almost finished with the game. However, I cannot finish if I can't poison the little hunch-backed weasel. I would think I would have a bowl left over, or the game would refuse to pick up the same herb twice...any ideas? I have all other herbs labeled. I think there is a recipe for Masa thorns, but it didn't say that I mixed it correctly when I tried it. Help meeeeeee please thank you from the bottom of my heart :-)
If I read the Zoilos reactions scroll correctly, it says to combine 1 kerma and 1 Arsawa powders in water, but I get no reaction. I may be reading it wrong because I didn't do really well with the other mixtures - basically I got lucky by experimentation. Too bad someone can't just send me some or I can't go buy it at the market! Still stuck - hmmmmmm

Sure. I'm currently playing Pisces. My green powder is labeled canaan thorns. My other green powder can't be picked up without a dadgum bowl. Thanks MaG! I've never had to use a saved game from anyone - is it hard to figure out? Thanks

I looked again at the Zoilos reactions and none of my recipes state that you put a certain color of powder with any combination - like my Masa thorn recipe only says to use Arsawa and Kerma powder - there is no green powder listed anywhere on the page. Maybe that's why I have had to just figure all of them out basically on my own. Is there something wrong with my copy of the game or should I be looking for a patch? Dave - thank you so much for your help as well. I have looked high and low for that other bowl, but I can't find it anywhere. I've scoured my inventory many times, but I'll continue to look again. Actually when I was picking up the herbs, I thought I had a couple of bowls left but the scene went straight to the mixing room. hmmmmmm
Hey Dave and MaG!!! I went back and reloaded a previous save and found that you can really goof yourself up and use up your bowls the wrong way if you click on any of the big unbroken bowls on the shelf twice. You have to use the bowls on the spilled herbs on the floor and shelves - they're the ones that Thomas says he already has, but he will let you waste all of your bowls on the unbroken containers of herbs without even a warning. ARRRGGGHHH Thomas - thanks for nothing you crazy Egyptian - currently I'm replaying the game from putting the head crock to sleep - or maybe even opening the secret passage - grrrrrrr!

I sent you a saved game just before collecting the poisoned and fragrant washbowl. You can use this or replay. Good luck if you replay.
Sorry you had to go through this problem.
Also please do not stack your posts - use the edit button. Thanks for that help.

Sorry - I tried to combine those two and couldn't make it work. I haven't been on for awhile so I'm not up on all of the tricks yet. I did get two of them edited and they went together quite nicely, but I forgot how I got it to work. I also stink at doing searches now that there is a time frame - I constantly get a no results found message. Hopefully I'll get smarter as I go!
Thanks for the saved game MaG. I finished the game before I got it, but I kept it so I can play from that point when I play it again.
