I have been playing, and enjoying, this game for awhile. However, there was one scene which almost had me quitting. It is the scene in the courtyard of a town where there is a sleeping cat. When you have our "hero" click on the cat, he kicks it! Later on (this would be a spoiler), he does something else to the cat that was also very cruel. Whoever put this part in the game must be very insensitive.

I have not played, but I am sure it must have had some reason to be put in the game. Either to show the character of the hero or an emotion at the time.

I am sure no animals were harmed in the making of the game. wink

What he did made something happen, but the kicking, etc. was unnecessary. Thanks for your input.

I haven't played the game, but kicking a sleeping cat doesn't sound like a very considerate thing to do and makes the "hero" sound like a jerk (unless the cat was evil or something, and got its jollies out of jumping on the hero, claws unsheathed, while the hero was asleep).

No, the cat was just sleeping in the town, bothering nobody. I realize there are some people who dislike (hate) cats, which is their loss, and they like to make sure everybody knows this.

I sooo agree with you Laurette...there was no reason to show the cat being abused...I didn't like it either!
Hugs..Emily

If you got the game from Big Fish, maybe you could write them about it so they can pass on the information to the developer. Don't they often ask for feedback on games?

catbytes1313 and Jenny100: Thank you for your comments. I'll see about contacting BigFish.

I also found this to be a bit upsetting. But to be honest there was no indication that he was going to do that. You just clicked on the cat like you did everything else.
