I don't know what the problem is with my game but my last save is corrupted or i found a bug. I am at the point where Victoria is investigating the house for Paloma, i have the sponge and whenever i try to get the sponge wet i keep getting a red message saying that my inventory is full (but it's not), the message keeps flashing but not in the normal way and i can no longer click anywhere, i can press escape and exit but when i try again it keeps doing it at the exact same spot. So my guess is that either the saved game is corrupted or it's a bug. I would really appreciate it if someone can give me a saved game up until that point more or less. So far the game is very good although i am a bit disappointed with the "Still Life 1 (yes 1) ending" and the graphics but still i like the story on this one as well and want to finish it. Thank you very much for your time and to anyone who might help out.

Each item takes up a certain number of squares. So maybe you have one item that took most of the inventory space.
So place any item in storage, wet the sponge, use it and take the inventory item again.

I checked it out but that wasn't the problem, i did have an empty inventory with only the sponge in it but i kept getting the same thing. The message was not the normal one, it was still red but at some parts it had green colour and it kept flashing and i couldn't click on anything else. The only thing i could do was press escape and exit or load again. I will probably restart the game and use the walkthrough up until that point.

I might have a saved game close or near where you are but the sequence of my game might be different from yours.

Thanks MaG, I received the e-mail fine on my hotmail account. I closed my old yahoo account that's why it bounced. It looks like i'll have to rename the jpg to match the saved game. I'll give this a go. Thanks for the help again

No need to renumber. It will not be recognized by the text file if you do.
