I am at the well, the novice has fallen in and I cant find any way of getting him out. I dont see a rope, ladder, branch, anything that can be lowered down to him. Does anyone know how I am supposed to help the poor little fella. Thank you, Eileen

Hi Eileen,

From the walkthrough: Click on the rope to get a bucket of water. Bruno wants to bring the bucket up but ends at the bottom of the well.
Use the rope on the winch. Bruno comes up dripping wet.

I'm not sure if the rope to be used on the winch is a different rope or not, but did you pick up a rope at the stables earlier in the game?
