Hi Lillian, Yes, the ticket should appear in Documents after you have clicked on Read. If your documents section is already fairly full, you can scroll through by clicking the ornate curlicue at top and bottom centre of the page. See if the train ticket appears at the top.

Does the ticket appear in close-up onscreen anyway, when you click Read? Rather than starting a brand new game, continue playing and see how it goes. Possibly the tickets are just story flavouring and don't affect game progression.

Hi Mari, Which quiz are you having trouble with - Day 1? There are a few quizzes throughout the game. Some characters have more than one section of dialogue, so make sure that you have selected the correct dialogue for the respective question. Read through your choices to check that the answer is in the dialogue.

Hi Lillian, Another trick with the fire run is not to panic or double click repeatedly while Holmes is still moving. This confuses the poor chap and he'll just stand still and do absolutely nothing, wasting seconds. Double click to make him run, and only after he stops running should you immediately double click again in the next direction you want him to take. Good luck - you can do it! Let us know how you get on. If you would prefer a saved game just let us know.

MaG, Thanks for responding. I've made up my mind I'm going to do it !!!. I'll just go in everyday and have a go. Thanks again, for the encouragement. Lillian.
PS I couldn't have got this far without your walkthrough.
Rushes, thanks for the tips. To much double clicking is just what I have been doing. Thanks for offer of save. I'm not ready to quit just yet. Lillian

After receiving the key, did you speak again to Constable Fletcher?

There is a second feather to pick up from one of the benches out on the station platform. It's difficult to see, but is on the far left of the bench as you look at it. That's likely what is holding you up.
