Did you correctly measure the footprint on the windowsill?
Also make sure to click on everything in the cabinet, and examine any bloodstains.

I measured the footprint, it was between size 8 and 12. There was only the one bloodstain on the floor. Didn't notice anything else. Recheck the garden also. Will go backand recheck the cabinet but everything has been said about the paintings and the new rolls of paper. I just rechecked the cabinet and nothing new. Everything has been done in the house. Now, the garden? Why is the money still under the pot? The pawn ticket was there but the money wasn't picked up nor does it want to be picked up.

The money can't be taken, only the pawn ticket. smile

Can't think what you've missed. Did you click on the flower pots and have Holmes note they were not from England? Have you tried clicking on Baker Street anyway to see if it's possible to return? The return isn't automatic as in some other cases.

Idid click on all pots and got wording about some not being from England. I never thought of the map. Let me try that. I did try clicking on the map and got back to Baker Street. Now I'm lost in the woods by the abby. I follwed the walkthrough and couldn't see any fire.

You would not actually see the fire until the end of the path. Holmes will say that there is a fire and smell smoke. Then you can go forward until the end of the path.
After that - the timer starts and you have to get water in the pail.

I made it. I Put out the fire!!! I have worked on this at least an hour every day since the 6th . The only way I could do it was to get my best time from fire to pond. (timer has to still be in green at this point.) save at that point. Keep trying from there for best time back to fire. Thanks for the help and encourgement. Lillian

Lillian, that's wonderful! bravo It's such a difficult sequence to get through - well done for persevering. Relax now and enjoy the rest of the game. laugh
