I really liked this; I thought it was as good as the first. Something about the gameplay, maybe the long amount of time you have to find bits of things and use them, makes this a fun and soothing IHOG for me. Plenty of hints, and they recharge quickly, and I liked the mini-games that I played in the demo hour.

Aha! Wonderful. I just played the demo but I will buy from Bigfish just as soon as I download, it's on my shopping list.
Thankyou for the hint BFG-Guy

yay thanks BFG Guy, I just played the demo and hoped you would have it real soon. You sure know how to pick the winners. I think I am buying a game every day lately. I have been a member for 3 years or more and loved every minute of it.

I highly recommend trying the demo to the Gameboomers because Magic Encylopdia 2 is a gorgeous game from what I Seen of the demo and just as good as the first one, in some ways better.

Sorry BFG-Guy I just couldn't wait. When I got the email from alawar offering it for $6.99 I just had to get it.....

I think it's worth waiting for Big Fish. Even thought the $6.99 price is the same, you can't beat tech support at Big Fish (should there happen to be a problem with the game).

A sequel to Magic Encyclopedia? Be still my pounding heart! So glad BFG is getting it right away. Now if they can just get that pesky fire damage cleaned up so I can download it at the earliest possible moment, I'll be a happy camper. Somebody else will have to handle the 4th of July BBQ duties as I will be engrossed in the game.

Unfortunately I am just too impatient for certain games, Westward, Magic Encyclopedia and The Treasures of Mystery Island to name a few of those that I couldn't wait on. Generally when I buy from another place I play it and then in about 3 or 4 months I will go to Bigfish and re-buy it so I can have it with all of my other games. A bit obsessive perhaps I'll admit.
