Hi I have trouble with pouring the syrup into the cup. MaG's walkthrough says
Click to reveal..
Go to the distiller. Take the gooseneck off. Place thyme, lemon, honey and water in still. Click the empty bowl (cup and saucer) on the still to get bowl full of syrup. Place the gooseneck back on the still.
but it won't let me use the cup there!
Note: I still have not made the parfume and I set he fire in the distiller; does it make a difference?
thanks

Hi Iva,

Use more charcoal on the stove if you need to. Have you removed the top (gooseneck) of the still? Did you use the still previously for anything and leave any contents in there? It isn't possible to empty the still if you make an error, so I'm wondering if that might be the problem. If you pass your cursor over the still does it give you a description of the contents?

Hi Rushes, I did remove the gooseneck, did not use the still previously. I will try to add some more coal, though. Will let you know if it helps. But the still is steaming and it says it contains syrup of honey!

.... won't let me add coal. cry
... according to the wt I should have prepared the perfume first, I will go back to one of the saves and try doing it that way

Make sure you're using the cup & saucer that you picked up from the table near the couch where Babou sits. Did you play the lyre and sing with Babou already? That's how she loses her voice and needs syrup. Check that you are using all the ingredients needed. luck

I did it! yay

I got back to an earlier save, made the perfume first, and then made the syrup.
I don't know what caused the problem - it is either needed to make the perfume first, or to light the fire prior to putting in the ingredients, or it was the order of the things put in the still (first time I swapped lemon and thyme, and now I put them in in order I was told and it worked).
Thanks anyway Rushes. Going back to the game. thanks hearts
