Hi Darleen -- yes, this is the new adventure! No definite word yet as to a publisher for the disk version, so I can't give you any idea of a timetable. Once the game does release on disk, though, I'm sure that Interact will have it.

I loved the first game, and know I would love this one, but I can't play it!
It crashed the PC everytime I start to play, so badly that I have to logoff from the Pc, everything freezes

I have written to support, hopefully they can help, but has anyone else had a problem?

Sorry guys, I have not downloaded the game yet.
I just finished one new game last night, working to get the New Nancy Drew out today, then play Monkey Island and then I will download Return to MI. I didn't know it was coming out this soon or else it should have been placed early in my schedule.

My brain can only handle so much exercise -

Maybe you can buy the strategy guide and see.
Also play and see how much fun it is to be a real adventurer. Then you can replay later if you need a walkthrough. Have fun!

When you start the game, you can't change the settings. It starts out full screen. How would you use the Strategy Guide if you bought it - you wouldn't be able to see it.

You could print it out before you start playing. Or just read the section that relates to where you are in the game, and then start up and play. How is downloading/using a Strategy Guide so different to saving & using a walkthrough?

Usually, you can resize the windows on both the game and walkthrough, so if you get stuck, just click the other window to open up the WT. On the strategy guide, you get a small window, but not on the game itself. As soon as you start the game, the WT will stay, but not the Strategy Guide. It disappears. As for printing it, there is no print option on it.

I'm assuming that means that the game isn't Alt/Tab friendly? Also, is there any way to buy the disc copy from bigfish without also having to buy the actual game? It is way to large to download seeing as my monthly bandwidth allowance is only 2GB.

OOPS, I missed reading the post right above mine. Since the strategy guide is actually a download like the game, you can only have one running at a time...DUH

I don't think you can purchase the disk only. I am going to try to download it tonight during my 5 free hours of satellite. But 2.5 gb is pretty darn big. I was hoping I could put it onto a jump drive but I don't think that is possible either.

I wrote asking if I need the disc, how do I purchase it after buying the game.

but I am thrilled it was available this quickly!

I am real happy that BF has this game today I am downloading now. As far as a walkthrough I always try to do the game by myself and if need help, I go to the help forum and usually someone there will be able to help me. I do love your walkthroughs MaG but only use them for areas where I get stuck. It makes the game play more exciting to me when I have figured out a puzzle or area by myself. No unfortunately you can't put the games on a jump drive and be able to play it from there.

Hmm, I wonder if after you finish playing if you could transfer it to a USB harddrive? I know you wouldn't be able to play it but you wouldn't have to re-download it again down the line when you wanted to play it, you would just have to transfer it from the drive to your computer and go into the purchase history place and click re-install and it would make it able to work again?

There are changes made to the registry that cannot be copied to a DVD. It would not work to do that.

Richard, I solved my problem by reinstalling without Anti Virus Software running. That did the trick, so give it a go if you haven't already done so
