Hi Smiley, Did you wind up the train again? Also have another chat with Oscar who's standing close by in that area.

Yeah I did. But it turned out that I had to talk to Felix about picking up the package once inside the hotel to get the phone call. But I really should take my own advice next time (not to play computer games when I've had to cut the sleeping time to short ) But thanks for the help Rushes

Hi Bikerman, You could try a saved game to get you past your crash point. There are plenty HERE to choose from. If you still have problems let us know.

Have you installed the patch for Syberia ? I don't know for sure if it addresses the cuckoo egg crash though.

Bikerman, I had the same problem. My version is the Syberia I/II Collectors Ed. DVD. Try Mag's advice first. If the problem persists, right-click the game's shortcut and click the Compatibility tab. Choose Windows 98. Don't be alarmed if saves don't show up when you launch the game. The saves are still in your My Documents directory. You have to copy them over to the Syberia folder in your Program Files directory (Pretty sure it's either Program Files/Syberia/saves or Program Files/Microids/Syberia/Saves).

Regarding AVG, try disabling it while installing the game. It's only what we call a "false positiv" - nothing to worry about.

Thanks, misslilo. Bikerman, Best to post at Glitches forum to see if they have other suggestions. If you need game hints help for Black Mirror, you can start another thread. Thanks.
