Hi Suni,
There are several points in the game where you need to tape together pieces of map. Whereabouts are you exactly?

If you are in Jack's apartment go to the bicycle wheel at right of apartment and take the spoke from the wheel, also try the ? at bottom of screen and that will point it out. Let me know if that helps. Suni

Hi Suni, Thanks for the help. I'll send you a saved game just after the scene with the detective. You are now in Mark Taine's apartment.

I'll send you the save I have prior to the apartment, which is in the hotel room although I'm not sure if the map pieces are put together or not - which is why I sent the later save. Check your e-mail in a few minutes.

Whistler, look close at the dial. You will have to turn left, right, left........ Click and hold and turn and release the dial when your correct number is under the red dot at top of the dial. You may not hear a sound when your numbers are under the red dot and the reset button is at the center. When done, click the handle. Good luck. Chief

Hello, I am in the workshop trying to mark the hole in the inflated tire with the felt tip pen, I have put the tire in the fountain and found the hole but it won't let me mark it. I have also tried to mark it when I was near the fountain. Does anone have an idea on what i might have missed? Or does anyone have a saved game? Any help is appreciated Suni

Hi Suni, I merged your two threads. Staying with one thread per game helps us keep track of your progress and also avoids pushing another member's active thread off the first page. As soon as you have inflated the tyre at the workshop, you need to be as quick as you can and double-click your way to the fountain. (It's possible that you're running out of time and so will be unable to mark the tyre.) After placing the inflated tyre in the fountain Nicole will comment, and the tyre will return to inventory. Pick up the pen and click it on the tyre in inventory and it will be marked. Have another try and see how you get on.

Thank you for the information on the thread, much appreciated. I have the tire to the fountain in time, The pen will not mark the hole, Also does the clock have to be running to also mark the hole? The clock is rather fast. Thank you Suni
