Can someone tell me the difference between HOG and IHOG?

Speaking in very general terms, with a HOG, all you are doing is looking for objects on a list, nothing more. With an IHOG, you not only look for objects on a list but you also use some of the objects you find as inventory items to solve puzzles.

HOG = hidden object game
IHOG = interactive hidden object game

Also in some IHOGs you have to find all the pieces of the object before you can use it.
