I am having trouble finding the letter I on a painting in the french gallery.

Also, how do I collect the paintings? I dont get a hand to take them. Do I have to find the letter I before I can take the paintings? Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Zoe,

Once you've found the letter I clue you'll be able to pick up the similarly-themed paintings.

For the letter I, locate two paintings next to each other which are the same. Click on both paintings and Holmes will comment that they are identical. Now use your magnifying glass on both. Scan all over the painting on the left until you see a tiny Lupin standing on a balcony, and left-click. Then use the lamp on that painting to see more clearly.

I have one more question please...I am stuck on the kings puzzle. I did most of it just fine but on the fourth paragraph I dont understand what to do. Im using mags walkthru but for some reason I am not understanding this.

I switched the coins for 4th and 6th rows, its just the part after that. Thank you for any help you might have.

Did Holmes say "Perfect" after the 4th & 6th column changearound? If so, then just pick up the Jane Grey medal, and the puzzle's complete.

The 4th paragraph states that you interchange the 4th and 6th columns; not rows. Could that be your problem?
