Mag,
Do You have a savegame after opening the chest with the bee dial.

Rushes, thank you for the save you sent I actually found where it went, which is unusual, as I have Vista. Do you have a save for after the chest is opened--the soduko puzzle. Thank you in advance,

Doreen

Hi Mag or Rushes,
I'm tired of the monkey's laughing at me in the coconuts game. Just can't seem to win that one and get the compass. Do you happen to have a saved game by any chance after winning?

Hi Rushes, I am on the top of the cliff, and can see no sign of any monkeys to be able to talk to them. Is there a particular spot I should be in? I did the camel puzzle etc, and according to the W/T it says exit the cave, go to the right and up to the top of the cliff.when I get to the top I can see some steps, barren tree, and what looks like a keyhole on the ground . Am I in the wrong place?

The monkeys must already have been given the sea urchin to play with - so that's fine. smile You don't need to interact in any other way with these guys. I didn't follow the walkthrough when I played, so some tasks may be out of sequence. Carry on and enjoy!

Hi moi,

I moved your post from the other ND thread to your own. Please stay with one thread per game, it helps us follow your progress. thanks

Did you examine the pulleys at Blue Hole closely? Nancy will comment and note that the monkey who stole the pulley has an extra toe. Then make sure to read Sonny Joon's Field Research Notes so as you know which puzzle to play to win the pulley.

The pulley is a rectangular-ish brown wooden object, you may have already won and picked it up without realising. Check your inventory just in case.

If you still need a save game let us know.

Hi MaG,
At Blue Hole Nancy doesn't comment at all, so I must have missed something. In my inventory I don't have the pulley so please send the save.
Thanks, Moi

Hi, moi!

Do you want to check your inventory again because I had exactly the same problem and, when I took a closer look at my inventory items, there was the pulley. Also, take a look at Nancy's "Observations" to see if she mentioned the monkey prints at Blue Hole and the monkeys stealing the pulley.

I had visited Blue Hole very early in the game but had not decoded El Toro's journal yet. I think I also won the pulley from one of the monkeys before decoding the journal so, when it came time to use it, I had completely forgotten all about it.

Good luck!

Susan
