Hi Mag I have gone up into the tower with the jet pack for the second time and didn't see the Banshee, I was wondering if this made any difference to the game as the code you quoted in the walkthrough unlocks the desk CQLXN it doesn't work for me it wont unlock the desk. Any ideas please.

June,

Have you examined all the 4 books?
Have you gone to the island just north and clicked on the letter etched on the rock? luck

Hi Mag Yes I did click on N5, sorry about this I really don't know what else to do, I have gone through the walkthrough to see if I missed anything, but I have covered it so far.

Can you double check that you have all 4 books in inventory.

Hi June,

It might help to go back to an earlier saved game and replay through from your first visit to the tower, examining the room, the reading of the books, the visit to the island, etc. There's something that's been missed, and a replay might unstick you. smile

Hi Rushes
I have already checked from an earlier save game, I checked the four books and everything, but it still doesn't work, I have now uninstalled the game and reinstalled it starting from the very beginning, but thank you for trying to help me, at least now I have the walkthrough so there is no excuse not to finish the game, unless it gets stuck in the same place, if so I will be back.

June, there's no need to replay the whole game through again. E-mail me your last dated save, and I'll take a look at it for you and see what the problem might be.

Hi Rushes The game wasn't working because I didn't see the Banshee come out of the tower, I did go back to a saved game and tried it again, this time it worked, thanks for you help.

Hi Rushes, I did enjoy the game and finished it by sending up a rocket. Has Nancy Drew a different writer now as there seems to be a better storyline and better puzzles, not quite so silly now, its much better.

I had fun with it too. I'm not sure if they keep the same team of writers for each game, though.
