Hi Chuck,

Aim for the guava, crab or starfish, they carry higher points. Also remember that you only have 8 coconuts per round, so try not to waste a coconut on a lizard which is only worth 1 point.

Hi Chuck,

Check that you're at the correct location and not at Shark Cove, which is also shaped in a half circle. The reef is not attached to the main island, it is separate and out in the main water. Once you've sailed far enough inside the area it will switch to Nancy's viewpoint inside the boat and you'll be able to click on the ladder attached to the leftside.

Hi Rushes...found place..clicked latter..below in swim suit..
WT says..auto be in scuba gear HOLDING the metal detector.
I notice my detector is still in inventory..should this be?
I swim all over wreck,etc but no action..is this because I
need detector with me...can you help..thanks..Chuck..

Nancy should automatically hold the metal detector - you should see her moving it from side to side in front of her as she swims. I don't know if it appears in inventory at the same time, I didn't check. As soon as you are close to something buried the beeps of the metal detector become faster, you can also watch the bar at the top of screen. Your cursor changes to a hand when you're able to dig. Search around near the base/to the right of the ladder first, there's an item there that you need to collect.

Hi Rushes...when she goes down with me she is not holding
the detector...swims all over the place but apparently needs
detector in hands to do her thing. I am not sure why when I
click ladder and she goes down..she does not have detector..I
see it in my inventory..will back up a little and see what is
causing this..thanks Chuck....

Did you read all pages of the journal? There are the 3 pages that you decoded, and further pages after that with illustrations and info on the Caridad.

Hi Rushes....no luck so far..went back to getting compass..
the detector..to resort..CouCou...guavas..talk George..to
sail boat(sail on)..did not do glass bottle(says not necessary)
..should I do?..sail in circle rocks..El Toro book, manual..
dive down and she keeps arms at side(no detector)..swim over
deck,etc...
..during this I click on detector in inventory..she says...
I can't use this now...anyone have ideas what is wrong...

Rushes....you are not going to believe this. I never had the
detector in the first place. I thought the small blue thing
was it. Saw a picture of her swimming with detector(a save or
something)..knew I didn't have it...went back to Johnny and
got real detector..am really sorry about this..I have played
so many games I get really dumb on some..now trying puzzle but
hard to beat time...maybe use your Save..thanks..Chuck..

Hi Rushes....need help finding Dove Island. Saw the coordinates..
..SW 70..and comment..go to sailboat and sail NE and land at
Dove Island. Been all over and cannot find Dove Island..found an
island but circled and no landing,etc..any help..thanks,Chuck

Try the southernmost part of Dove Island, sail in as close as you can to it and hopefully that should do the trick.
