SEATTLE - July 21, 2009 (Casual Connect Seattle) - Casual games developer and publisher Legacy Interactive today announced Game Share & Compare (GSC), a new game discovery application on Facebook. GSC is an online database with robust social networking features that allows users to find, review, and share their favorite PC/Mac downloadable, online, console, and iPhone videogames.

On Facebook, users can browse the more than 1000 games already in the GSC database or alternatively, they can add any new games to GSC. They can send game links to a friend, modify their game playing status, publish whatever games they are playing to their Facebook profile, and find out what games their friends are playing. Using Facebook's ability to share content via your friends network, new games are dynamically and seamlessly integrated into the users' Facebook conversations.

GSC is one of a number of tools that Legacy uses to help market and promote third party games that it distributes online. New games that Legacy adds to the GSC database will receive priority promotion among the GSC and Legacy Games members. Currently Legacy distributes 50+ games for its developer partners through more than 20 online portals, including games from Microids and Crimson Cow. All of the games distributed by Legacy will be featured in weekly promotions on both Game Share & Compare on Facebook and Legacy Games.

Game information posted by users on Game Share & Compare is automatically displayed on the Legacy Games web portal, and vice versa. Users can link their accounts on Legacy Games and Facebook, then use their Facebook identity to sign into Legacy Games. The Legacy web portal has been updated to include games on all platforms, and has among the most robust social networking features of all the popular downloadable game portals.
