I have a problem with the bookpuzzle in dracula origin. The puzzle is not so difficult to do, so I think my pc is not strong enough for this game. Who can tell me if this is so.The problem is: I click the small segments ( malcolm - walkthrough - gameboomers) 1 and 4 and then the bat's head and then 2 and 3, no problem its easy and after that I click the big segments A and E, the bats heat and so on, must be easy, but no words. Can this be a problem of the computer or is this a known problem in this game? Who can help me?
I play the game on a laptop - CPU 520, Intel Celeron, 1.6 GHz, graphic card 256 MB, 512 MB memory. ASUS laptop. Graphic ATI radeon Xpress 1100.

I don't think it is your computer.
Try the explanations of the other 2 walkthroughs on this puzzle and see if they work for you.

I did, but nothing seems to help, you have to click at the big segments to get the words. If I click a segment and another segment and click after that on the bat the bat only makes a sound but no letters appear. I dont understand why, I click in the center of a segment just like in the little segments, must be no problem.I dont have a problem with the little segments ( icons) and the diamonds, only with the part of the word segments.

Do all of the small inner triangles now have a symbol in them?

Text will only appear on the larger triangles if they are in their correct positions, so try swapping them around a bit and see if you can get any text to appear, clicking on the bat after each swap.

Just a thought, linda - from looking at a screenshot of the puzzle and relying on my memory, you need to click on the bat above the circle, rather than the head in the middle of the circle. You only need click on it after interchanging two triangles. luck

did that to, the bat above the circle. I never click on the heat in the middle ( is that possible also?)but nothing happens.
Next week I got another new pc with more power, I think I try to play the game again and see what happens , If I have the same problems again I let you know., thanks for helping.

It's different to a patch - a patch will install automatically whereas a saved game needs to be manually installed to the game folder and renumbered. I'll send you a saved game with instructions, just shout if you have any problems.
