i have return to mysterious island on cd. just kind of reading the walk through it seemed like there was one before it. thats what i was wondering

My9, that was the first of the series. The "return" part is because it is based on the Jules Verne novel Mysterious Island.

I just finished the game, and it was pretty awesome! The ending was a little sad though.

I enjoyed it also. There's depth to this one.

I did it!(with help from the wondrous MAG)I have enjoyed all the Microids games and this was exceptional. I did have to go back to an earlier save after I had given away all my goodies willy-nilly to anyone who asked. Must be more frugal! I think I will replay the first episode again. It seems to have been a lean patch for us adventure gamers lately so I am glad to be back!I haven't played anything since Vampyre Story and Rhodan (hated them both!) Have I missed anything good?

It's kind of sad that it's over though. I doubt Kheops studio will make another sequel and continue this concept. I was absolutely thrilled when I found out that they developed a sequel for Return to Mysterious island. It was like a dream come true, because when I finished the first Return to Mysterious island I thought that it would be just awesome to continue the story from there, something like a helicopter crashing, or Mina showing the rescuers what she has discovered on the Island.

Return to mysterious island 2 was a fantastic sequel and thanks to Kheops studio who made it.

So once again, it's sad that it's over.

I finished it! WOW! Loved it - it is as good (at least) as the first one. Only used the w/t when I got stuck which was as usual often. What fun 'throwing' pots! Something I have never attempted in real life. Wonder now if there still might be a #3 (sequel) to continue with how Mina and Jep do now - could be another big problem for the island comes up - afterall there is still an active volcano there to deal with. I played both endings tho just to see the outcome and I was right the first time
