deleterman, when you get out of the clinic, turn left and walk a short distance to see the butcher shop on the left of the street.

Hi deleterman,

Did Holmes ask Watson a question as to the similarity between this and the previous murders?

If you're playing in third-person, try switching to first-person and see if that makes it easier to click on the pastilles.

Before doing the timeline you need to locate the 3 exits that lead from Mitre Square. Walk around until you find Church Passage (you've likely found this area already when you spoke to Abraham), the Mitre St exit, and the St James Passage exit. Holmes will comment on each one. Then try the timeline again. luck

I need help a way back in this game. I am at the point where I have to get the hook from the desk. I have tried for hours and weeks but no success. I know how, but just haven't got the dexterity? Please could I have a saved game here. I do wish also they wouldn't put these arcade style parts in an adventure game as it spoils it for me.

Do you see a table on the sidewalk behind where you picked up the pole with hook? Stand close to that and look up high at the wall, and you should see the watering can on a ledge.

It should be there unless you picked it up already or it is a glitch.

Walk around the street and then see the watering can while you're on the street and facing the table with the watering can on the ledge.

Try to exit the game and reboot.

Are you playing in first-person? When you're at the table and looking up to the ledge, move your cursor all around the ledge area, the can may be partly concealed. Maybe stand back a little and press your space bar for active spots.
