I joined BFG and downloaded Nostradams & Return to Mysterious Island 2. Played & finshed both, very happy with 6.99 cost for each download.

I was looking at the Game Tap site. They seem to have a lot more Adventure games than BFG. Questions:

Has anyone used them.
What was your experience like. Good, Fair, Bad.
When you select to download a game and have unlimited play does that mean you have most of the program sitting on your pc hard drive and are just using your browser to get to BFG or Game Tap
to play the game.
Doe Game Tap just charge one monthly fee with unlimited downloads and play or do they charge per download?

You can also try The Adventure Shop at top of the page. It is an adventure only download shop. It benefits GameBoomers if you buy there.

I have used Gametap also and they are safe also.

Gametap is one monthly fee for anything and everything they carry. You don't buy the games, you basically subscribe to the service which lets you play any of their games they host as much as you want for as long as you subscribe. If you stop subscribing you lose access to the games.

Last I checked Gametap they also randomly selected games that you could play for free each month.

On Gametap, there are some games you can play for free. But I joined and love it. My nephews play all the time when they are here, and I play alot. It does have some older adventure games that won't work on XP when you use the originals, but their's work. And they have games from other systems that work on the PC. I also use Big Fish. I like both the sights and only had trouble with Gametap once. They answered my question right away. they are good companies to work with. Vicki
