I am in the overturned ship. I climbed up on the filing cabinet and found what I need to find up there. I cant find a way down to the bridge to take the steel girder off the man the only thing I see is the hatch that is rusted closed. Where do I go from here?

EDIT rereading your question: or don't you know how to get back to the man? Just leftclick on Hatch and not on Chain - use spacebar/magnifying glass to check

I got the hatch open but when I click on it to go down she says I cant just leave the man behind here and wont go down the hatch.
I told him I had the letter and found a way out and he told me to hurry.

If the man is still pinned down, you need to free him first - see spoiler about girder or check WT
If you've freed him already I think you need to talk to him again to wake him

I have to get down to the bridge to take the girder off I cant get down there she wont go down the hatch and I have talked to him. I have opened the hatch told him I have the letter and he told me I have to find a way out. I put oil on the hatch opened it but I cant get down to the bridge to flip the lever.

It's still a bit unclear to me... where is Nina exactly: on the same level as the man or on the upper level over the file cabinet??

The lever is at the back of the same level as the man - I get the impression you did not find it, but am not sure

EDIT as there a several hatches, I'm not sure whch is the one Nina will not go down. I assume the big round one?

The yellow hatch you opened with oil is to exit the ship.
The bridge is where the man is trapped.
You take the girder off the man by use of the chain mentioned by nanette.

Found the lever I didnt realize I was on the bridge. Now I am at the construction site. I am at the statue trying to put the spirit level on the arm it wont go. However the WT says spirit lever I dont have a spirit lever. Only a spirit Level is it a misprint in the WT or do I need a spirit lever too? If so where is it?

Looks like a slight misprint, dogpenny, it's the spirit level you need to use here.

have looked everywhere I can think of for a spirit lever and dont find one anywhere.


The level wont go on the arm. Will try again to see if I can get it to go there.

I cant get back to play the game the CD is in the right drawer and it will not play. It recognizes the CD in the drive but does not work when I click play the hour glass goes away.Is there anything I can do except uninstall and reinstall and start over again at the beginning?

This is a DVD game. Double check that the disk is in the DVD drive, not the CD drive.

It was in DVD drive but the CD drive is the only one that recognizes it as put in and it will not play there either I thought maybe it needed a driver up date so I checked Belarc to see what drive to update I updated and now my CD drive is a DVD drive what do I do to get my CD drive back?

Found the problem I didnt look up close at the statue. Now I have the laser going down the mole hole but it does not point at the rubble and I cant put the cup there. Did I miss a trigger somewhere?Got in touch with Dell and they fixed the drives for me.Game works fine now.

Double check each step on this puzzle.
One can easily skip a point.
Replay and see.

thanks Mag that is what must have happened I missed a trigger.I went back where is the pile of rubble it is not listed or at least I cant find it as such when I put I cursor all over the scene. Surveyor, and sign show up with the magnifying glass at the surveyor but nothing else.

Check MaGs walkthrough and try to go step by step and see if that helps.

I am at the bridge I called the ducks the first time but cannot get Nina to walk to the railing near the water she stays in the street. I have tried walking to the other side of the street and to the left and nothing works she wont walk to the rail when I put the noisemaker on her the 2nd time she says the ducks are already here. I go to the dock and blow the noisemaker and she says they are too far away and cant hear her. thanks for any help given

After you call the ducks on the bridge, you have to go to the Park.
There at the Park, you go to the railing and call the ducks.

when all else fails read instructions first I didnt see the word Park!!!! How blind can I be. Thanks
