Most of us are familiar with indie Adventure game developers, but I'm also intrigued by the number of newer casual game creators. I was so impressed today by Strange Cases: The Tarot Card Mystery, that I just had to Google Sulus Games, the developer. What else had they done, I wondered. Well, Tarot, I suspect is a big one for them. Their other games are Gems Quest and Jewelleria, quite different I would think than the more major production of Tarot. I was a little surprised to find that they are located in Yakutsk, Russian Federation. They sure have Americana down pat (see the Trailer in Chapter Two)! Here's a portion of their "mission statement:"

Quote:
All the games under the Sulus Games brand feature original plots, elaborate animation and inventive tunes. Adroitly combining these quality ingredients, Sulus Games produces delicious refreshments worthy of a connoisseur taste.

I'd say they have met that goal wonderfully well with Strange Cases: The Tarot Card Mystery, and look forward to their next production. I'm glad to give my little financial support to a company like this. Thank you, folks!

Robertson

Exactly what my sentiments are on this game. I thought it was a bit on the easy side, which I found relaxing instead of the stress of nearly invisable objects. I also will be looking forward to future games from them.

I certainly agree. It was a lovely game. I hated to see it end. Loved the music. At one point the melody reminded me a bit of a section of Gabriel Knight 3. Not sure, but think it was at the section about the winegrower. Hope they make many more like this one. Mel22odie
