I know it is early in game,but any chance for a save after the Painting difference thingy please.

What problem are you having at the painting difference?

I really do-not know what I am supposed to do.I am using your walkthrough which is great as usual.

1. Flip through the paintings on the stand until you reach the paintings seen on the picture below.
2. Click the permanent pen on the photo to be checked - the one lying on the table at bottom right.
3. Then click on the photo to be checked ( the one lying on the table at bottom right) to get a magnifying lens on the original.
4. Move the lens and click on the ones marked with a red X inside a green circle.

Thank You for the save.I have things so messed up the save was good but I cannot seem to be able to work my way to get to Act II from there.

Do not forget to left and right click any items.
Left click is action and right click tells you clues or information. Use it all the time so that you don't miss anything.

I did what you said,but still no luck.For some reason I am having one heck of a problem and it is stopping me from getting on to ActII Forgotten Cases.

Have you check-read everything in the computer, talk to everyone. Called Max and later met him in the park?

I tried everything but no luck.I reaaly have everything messed up.I want to go to Act II Forgottrn Case.

I sent you the next saved game - hopefully that is where you want to be.

How do you use the cell phone,I changed the battery but when I take it out of inventory I still cannot use it

Whenever you see a cursor that has 2 actions - try them both.
One is left click and one is right click.
In the case of the cell phone, move the cursor to top and see the cell phone.
Right click it and see the close up of the phone.
Select the person you want to call - using the arrow or scroll.
Then use the green phone icon or left click to select.
