I am really stuck. I went to your walkthrough and did every there. I even started the game over. I think when I am done collecting evidence , I am suppose to hand the evidence to the policeman. He won't take it and I can't leave the house. She says I have to do more work. This is driving crazy. Please help.

I am stuck again. I am at the hacienda, village, and shaman's house.Before I go to see Manuel . I go to the hacienda and check out the gridstone and notice it is broken. It has no belt. I need a belt. Then I check the tree with the fruit . I can't reach the fruit and the fruit needs to fall into something. I go into a room and check the lemon herb. I open up the secret compartment and there is nothing there. 1. I gave Manuel the cap and he told me to speak to the old lady.
2. I go to the shaman's house and talk to Ines she says I need to make an appointment to see the shaman.
3. The fan is broken so I look at the engine it has worn brushes it needs good brushes.
4. I turn the switch to the fan it doesn't work.
5. I ask Manuel if he has any brushes he could give me. He gives me some.
6. I go back to the shaman's house try the brushes in the fan.
They don't fit.
7. Take the pillow at the shaman's house.
8. I tell Manuel the brushes don't fit and I need a belt.
9. I go to the hacienda and under the fruit, I put the pillow.
10. I go back to Manuel and can't ask for anything. I can't ask him for the belt of stick.

So I am stuck. What do I do?

Presumably you already checked the grindstone since you are asking for the belt.
Go back to the grindstone - click on the extreme left of the grindstone and also the middle part of the grindstone. Those are the places you will attach the belt on.
You then ask Manuel and he will ask for a drink - you can now borrow the stick.
