Out at Alawar

Quote:
Meet Moxxie, a twentysomething city girl with a bare midriff and a limitless supply of wisecracks. She also has a job as a reporter for a supermarket tabloid that specializes in spooky encounters, so it's no surprise when her editor sends her to investigate a ghostly appearance in a psychic's apartment. Things get even crazier from there as you help Moxxie look into a variety of eerie high jinks and uncover a mystery that will have you both in stitches! Solve hidden object puzzles, beat mini-games and chat with Moxxie's dense but good-natured pals Shaggy and Boar as you work your way from one vibrantly animated scene to the next!

I played demo and loved this game. It is a fun adventure-lite type game will buy it when it comes to one of my game clubs for sure.

Yes, I agree the graphics are very different from what usually I play, but the sense of humor caused me to love the demo game. I will purchase it when it comes to other game portals also. Does anyone know if BFG will be getting this?

Yes I am sure BF will get it - Alawar seem to keep their games for about 6 weeks before distributing them so it is a bit of a wait.

Love this game. Too funny. But I will wait until BF has it.

I wanted to give everyone a heads up that this is now available on Big Fish as a soft release; it's not listed under the new releases but if you go to "forums," and then look at the upper righthand side of the page, it will say "The Jolly Gang's Spooky Adventure," and this in turn will take you to a page where it says "try it now," and you can download and purchase it.

It's a bit confusing because a) the name of the game has been changed, and b) it's hard to find the download.

A BFG moderator has indeed confirmed, though, that this is a soft release for BFG today. Magic Academy 2 had a set release date for today, and they released them both today.

Enjoy! I think it's a really fun little game. smile

THanks Marian! I started a thread here for it withe the new name. I saw it earlier but couldn't find the link for it. It will likely show up on their calendar tomorrow. The name change is particularly confusing. lol

I don't why I didn't just provide the link to the download, Ana; maybe I didn't have enough coffee this morning. Happily, you have taken care of that, so thank you! yes

I bought the game won it and had fun with it. However the main complaint I had is it is too short of a game. Now I hear others complain about that but they usually whiz through the game. I don't whiz through a game but still found it on the short side. Oh well I still don't regret buying it at BFG price.
