I read a couple reviews on Amazon, and it only averaged 3 stars. Otherwise, I have been reading gamers' reviews of a couple of the older ones in the series, and am thinking of picking up Blackmoor Manor.

You can download Ransom of the Seven Ships here for 6.99. I think it was worth that price. I would have been dosappointed at the full 19.99.

I really liked it! Thought the puzzles were good but not too hard, and even though the culprit ended up being who I thought it was, the twist was very surprising!

I usually like the Nancy Drew series. I ordered the Curse of Blackmoor Manor this week. The only one I wasn't crazy about was the Secret of the Old CLock. I didn't like having to "drive" in parts of the game, because I kept losing my way and/or running out of gas. (I guess a mirror of real life) LOL I had a couple glitches in Castle Malloy, maybe because of Vista. There was one place where there was no way I could get the jet pack going, even with hints. I had someone sent me a save.
