I can't seem to grasp how to use items from inventory Example: the screwdriver and antenna in killer's house.

You right click to access the inventory screen.
You will see 3 things there: the smartphone, inventory frame and kit to analyse evidence collected.

Take an item from inventory frame and right click to get to main screen and use it.
There is a combine icon right of the inventory frame if you need to combine items. You can also separate using the separate icon.

There are cabinets at strategic places that you can store excess inventory. You have to go back to those specific cabinets to take them back out when you need them.
Arrange the items in the inventory frame so that you can store more items.

There is a manual in the game folder you installed: Microids\Still Life 2

Good luck.

To use the antenna on the light switch:
Remember that there is a stand between Paloma and the light switch. She cannot pass the stand without being buzzed on her shock collar. So she needs to stand on this side of the stand and then use the antenna on the light switch.
Be sure to try to 'Pull the electric cord behind the television' first so she knows that she needs the power off.

As for the screwdriver - what screwdriver? The nail file?

Hi jorja,

MaG's walkthrough states that: The options menu has display selections (texture quality, antialiasing and shadow quality). See if tweaking any of those improves your game. luck

duh Only trying to help.

By "tweak" I meant to adjust the settings from the choices available in Options. Since you already know of these perhaps you have adjusted them already, in which case we'll have to wait for other suggestions.

On top of my head, check the smartphone and look at the documents folder. Read everything in there also. That is required by the game.

As for the computer key, that depends on puzzles that uses a computer. That can open or unlock a computer. You click the computer key on parts of the computer.

Well, I have checked all clues on proper data bases and I get a red message. What should I be doing? This game has me frustrated.

There are evidences that are checked using several tests-items from the bottom of the kit. Maybe you need to do another test on them.

It is a lot of testing of each evidence; it can get confusing. Maybe check off the walkthrough and see what have been done or collected. luck

jorja,

You are not in the killer's house. The part you described is in the Motel where Paloma was kidnapped.

The other walkthrough states this part this way - it might help you:
Answering machine - Go to right side table and click on the answering machine. Hear the Killer's message to Vic. Use the smartphone cursor on the machine or phone. Click on it again and hear Paloma's director.

In inventory, select the field kit. Check the smartphone left of the field kit. Click on the recorded voice of the killer. Select voice icon on the field kit and press the orange computer analysis icon. It is the altered voice of the killer.
