Hi Darleen,

Try clicking on some of the items in the machine including the lollipop for Lara to comment on, see if that resets/clears the numbers for you. Make sure to click the green select button after pressing the numbers.

I have another question, I got to the lab and Lara is looking at the painting to see if it's a forgery. When I get to the closeup screen, the mouse almost freezes and I can't control it. Is there something I can adjust in my settings?

Hi Mystery Lover,

Check the Glitches thread HERE, see if that helps you.

Best to post back at Glitches if you still have problems.

Hello everyone, Can somebody help me? I went at the painting gallery for the first time and saw the barrier set up for Peter the Great's gallery (nothing told me that the barrier was set up for Peter the Great's gallery). Then I went back to the Vase gallery and window. Now I'm trying to call Ostankovic but Max is always telling me that he has to search again before calling Ostankovic. What did I forgot to do? My response to Ostankovic was positive is that the wrong choice? Thank you for answering me. Sali

Hello MaG, I'm in act XV (flight). At Auntie's flat I wrote a message to Lara and she phoned back. After she told Max that the forgers place ads in the newspapers, I have to check the reader's notice page at the back of the third page and it's supposed to have and article stating about lost French book. But Max keeps saying :"why would I pull it out". What am I doing wrong?Sali

Do you have the newspaper taken from the bench outside the police station?
Read that newspaper - especially the want ads page - click on that page twice.
Then go to the board outside the old man's library.
Look close and read all the postings there. luck

Thanks MaG I didn't click twice or just right click , I clicked only on left with the mouse maybe that's it. I shall get back to you to give the result. If I find the right ad do you think I still have to read all the ads? OK MaG double clic was the answer Thank you very Much. Sali

I'm totally stuck with the lockpicking in Act 14. I position one correctly but each time I go to work on the other they both move and Lara complains there isn't enough room for two lockpicks. I think it must be my poor mouse control. Is there a save game that I can beg?
