Hi Gemma, You only need to dig after you have completed all 15 steps of the puzzle. To follow the steps: Use the number of the object and multiply it by the number on the note under additional paces. i.e. 3 fronds x 3N would be 9 steps North.

Hi Gemma, Be sure to have read the book in the basket by the sofa, back at the resort. It mentions a metal detector. Also read the pages of the journal which mention the Caridad shipwreck and its location. Then go speak to Johnny and Nancy should ask to borrow his metal detector. He will lend it on condition that you find his compass. The compass is with the notched eared monkey. Read Sonny Joon's research notes so you know which puzzle to play with which monkey. Then go play the coconut game, and the compass should be up for grabs as a prize.

Yes, the journal is the one with the code deciphering puzzles. Have you deciphered all pages fully and are now able to read the first 3 pages? Good luck with talking to Johnny. Let us know if you still have problems.

Hi Gemma, Well done on completing the chest puzzle, that's a doozy. Glad you found how to refill the air tank. Remember to use the Edit button if you need to add anything to a recent post and if no-one has posted after you. Enjoy the rest of the game.
